Would recomend booking balconey room as this hotel is right on the front by the river and you get wonderful views. Room was reasonable in size, although the bathroom is a little small and does not have any fan so can steam up rather when...More

The train station is about a 15 minute walk to the hotel. Many of the streets have cobble stones which may not be too good for your hips, especially after train travel! As the above reply, call the hotel with your arrival details and I'm sure they could arrange transport. I would also assume taxi's would be available at the railway station. There is an elevator to all floors. You would be better to go into the hotel via flat the side entrance as the front steeps are quite steep for someone following hip surgery. Sorry, no idea about the direct train.
