The Hotel is situated at the Island. The rooms are reasonable in size and tidy. The Breakfast is very good with many different kind of cheese and sausage. The free internet works very well. There is many good restaurants and pubs in walking distance. The only downside is that there is no parking at the Hotel. But this you have...

Yes, we agree with all the other positive TA reviews. We had a relatively spacious room on the third floor, with all the necessary amenities. There was no lift/elevator, but didn't find this too troublesome. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the location just on the outskirts of the historic old town, was perfect. The delicious breakfast...

We stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and go out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They serve a lovely breakfast as well and accommodated our request to serve it early so we can make an early start to the day. The rooms have no fan...

We stayed 2 nights at this charming hotel. The service could not have been better. The staff were very nice and offered treats to our little girls which made them very happy. Our room was on the top floor at the front of the hotel. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. Everything was very clean and...

We stayed at the 2nd building to the south, reached through a passageway from the northern building where the reception, breakfast room and spa area is located. Once you have your key, you can get in and out at the south entrance. Our triple room (actually consisting of 2 bedrooms!) was very cozy, clean and quiet. The breakfast was good....

We have just stayed one weekend night on a repeat visit to The Hotel-Garni Brugger. I strongly endorse all the favourable comments made by others on TA about the hotel staff, its location, breakfast etc.. I want to add two particular points from our recent personal experience: 1. Our room, #14 on the second floor of the rear of the...

This family run hotel was rather special, taking up several really old buildings but thoroughly modern inside. Very good sized rooms and beautifully presented. the only downside was the poor quality wifi. We ended up getting our own out of our rental car so we could get online. However, beautifully presented, great location and very peaceful. A lovely end to...

A very convenient location on Lindau Isand. The hotel rear entrance leads on to a shopping street and all the attractions and port are only an easy stroll away. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke English fluently. The breakfasts were fine and our room was appointed. We enjoyed our stay and should be happy to return.

This is a nice hotel. We booked a standard room but when we checked it we decided to upgrade as the standard is small and on the road side so would be noisy. We got a larger room for paying extra 15 eu but it was worth it as it was quiet and comfortable. The staff are quite good and...

Lovely friendly hotel just on the edge of the town. Rooms aren't big but very cosy and homely. Breakfast is also homely: good variety for a continental breakfast; boiled eggs that aren't overcooked and an option for bacon and scrambled eggs! Easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. Remember Mondays are a day when many places are closed, but...
