Rosyth Estate is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The quality of the rooms is faultless; the food is perfect and the staff are convivial, generous, and sincere. There are a variety of rooms available and we were billeted in a two-floor building with a view overlooking the jungle. The shower room had a full-length...

Everything was perfect about our stay at Rosyth. There is such a special atmosphere which sets it apart from everywhere else we stayed. Wonderful cooking, beautiful views, rooms and friendly staff - we couldn't have asked for a better trip to finish our month-long trip in Sri Lanka. Wish we could have stayed longer!

It was good to get away from the hustle and bustle of Colombo and find this little oasis of calm. Once we adjusted to the tranquility we sat back and enjoyed the service and cooking that the Rosyth offers. Our meals were super and the chef explained each dish letting us "experiment "with local tastes. Staff very attentive and helpful....

Hidden gem on the way to either Kandy or Dambulla. Spent one night there with our 1-year old and, in hindsight, should have stayed longer. Fantastic views across the surrounding hills and valleys, excellent and new rooms, as well as the most attentive staff made this a fantastic stay. Highly recommended for breaking-up the journey but also as a destination...

We stayed here with our 2 children aged 9 and 12. It was stunning. The staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. The son of the owners was over from England and was hosting. He was so polite and friendly. We walked up the hill to see the Tea Factory and also did a walk in the tea plantation,...

This was the last place we stayed on our visit to Sri Lanka and it is absolutely magical waking up to the most incredible views over the hills. Definitely go for the estate walk - you can be standing in one place and have tea, coffee, cocoa, pepper, coconuts, cinnamon, cloves and more literally within touching distance! The staff were...

Rosyth was an absolute dream. We had the best 3 nights here of our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect. The food was amazing - real home cooked Sri Lankan cuisine in a lovely dining room with beautiful views. We had our first 3 nights in Sri Lanka here and did all our "local" trips from the hotel each morning. It was such a relaxing place to strike out from. We both received complimentary foot massages on arrival, and had amazing massages which were perfect after the long flight from the UK. We stayed in the Tea "room" which...
