Didn't expect the heat at the hotel is such a comfy one. As usually i am very sensitive to heaters. it's such comfortable because the heat should be built between walls but not just from a heater. Travelled in Jan which is the coldest day at Brunnen, this helps me to have every night good sleep. Breakfast wasn't fancy ones...

A wonderful hotel in a true Swiss style. Located in a picture-perfect little village in the Alps, the hotel has everything you need. There is even a Sauna, small spa and work out room! The rooms are very good size, designed in a simple, spare but comfortable style. Seemed like a mix of Swiss and Scandinavian. Bathrooms are modern and...

No frills hotel in the tiny city of Brunnen. Beware that the town rolls up the sidewalks at 5 PM. The staff of the hotel is friendly and welcoming. You get an internet code that is only good for 5 hours, which is a bit silly. The breakfast is simply but sufficient.

Am I the only person who finds this totally objectionable? In all my many decades of global travel, I have never been subjected to a window from the bathroom overlooking the bedroom. No privacy whatsoever. No curtain for this window either. Forget toilet privacy - what about when one gets up in the night for the bathroom and must turn...

Nice clean hotel with a good restaurant. The rooms are large and functional but not luxurious. They have an excellent breakfast buffet available. The front desk does not always have staff, but there is always someone available in the restaurant to assist you.

The reception is always deserted, but the ladies from the restaurant will, help. There is parking in the back and public transport just around the corner. I saw someone here telling about the "great egg-boiling-machine".For me is is a disaster, if I have to boil my eggs in a hotel - I have never seen this before! The excuse "the...

Good value for money paid, good Internet, nice quality rooms, only thing is no parking while meters enforced 24/7 and a parking ticket big money. Nice pub nearby on the lake, nice place to walk around.

Big clean room and bathroom. Good food and buffet breakfast. At the heart of the town's most active area. The hotel is two buildings away from lake so is protected from the constant strong winds. Next to bus stops. Very friendly hosts and staff. Got my customized food prepared in the kitchen.

Standard rooms are in the back alley, which is dirty. We read about the nice lift etc in the main building ... we weren't even offered a room in the main hotel.... we got stuck in the back alley... and when I mentioned the location she said "Well, this is where the standard rooms are." (even though they were not...

The only negative was that there was no-one on the reception desk when I arrived. Otherwise full marks. A big, light room with bath, lift, a good breakfast (with a curious egg-boiling machine, so that you get hot, freshly-boiled eggs for once), an excellent position in the very centre of town but only a few yards from the lake, and...
