I have been to this fantastic hotel three times by now and I will be back there as soon as I can. This time I was there in the summer. The hiking and biking can not be better. Above all, when you wake up in the morning and see the views...you will realize the concept of Paradise. The owners and...

The Roseg Gletscher hotel is located in the midst of the stunning Roseg valley. Apart from the hotel buildings, there is nothing around except a stream, meadows and the mountains. Check-in was quick and friendly, we had a newly renovated room with a view of the surrounding mountains. The room was basic, not especially large, but clean. One evening we...

booked this through booking.com and read lots of nice reviews. Its a bit remote out of Potresina and great for hiking and looking at stunning scenery. The hotel picked us up at the train station and were lovely and helpful. OUr room was so new and clean. The bathroom was perfect. Beds comfortable. Meal in restaurant was delicious. Overall highly...

I love the fact that you cannot get there by car. It is so quite out there. Staff was really friendly and attentive. The food was great but I absolutely loved the dessert buffet. Amazing! We definitely come back to explore the area more deeply.

Very friendly staff, but location is so remote, it wasn't best location for down hill skiing. Had to request daily shuttles to town and felt like we were making an inconvenience. But for hiking it's a lovely location, great food and room.

our stay at this fine hotel was very memorable - from a well organized horse coach trip to the hotel followed by a warm reception and super service in the restaurant - not to mention the fantastic location of the place !!

First time ever, in Europe, I am able to find a hotel completly lost in the country side and right at the bottom of 2 magnificient glaciers. What a surprise we had when having to leave our car at the Pontresina train station being picked up within minutes of our call by the hotel car to discover after 10mn drive...

This is a great base for hiking the remote Roseg valley. It is a charming historic hotel nestled on the floor of a stunning valley. We spent 3 nights there and had 2 lovely hikes, one on each side of the valley. Doing those hikes from Pontresina would have added an extra 4 hours of walking! You are definitely captive...

We spend one night in this hotel with friends during a bicycle trip. It is a wonderful location, in the middle of a wild valley, where you can access only by horse carriage. The staff is very friendly and we got a very warm welcome. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast buffet very rich.

The view from the hotel is not bad. But definitely not a breath-taking "wow". Quite a disappointment actually. You have to love the smell of horse dung and no use having a car because you cannot drive to the hotel. Very inaccessible and the staff (if you can even find them) are unfriendly to say the least. Wouldn't ever stay...
