I booked an early season snowboard trip to Saas Fee and had originally picked the Hotel Berghof but was upgraded to The Dom as it wasn't open. Fantastic! The room was amazing, you need a degree to control the lights, TV etc with the suppied iPad or touch screen by the door! Large TV with loads of channels, excellent bathroom,...

Loved Sass Fee as a resort but the hotel made it even better. Stayed for week over Christmas half board. Probably the best option as its not the cheapest resort, but what's new with a ski resort. Food was excellent, staff were helpful and the gala dinner was an added extra. Using the buggies down to the lifts on occasions...

The service received at the Dom was excellent, from the receptionists to the cleaners everyone does a great job, with a smile on their face. Our room was spotless, and equipped with a wall mounted TV, and I Pod. Apparently the I Pod could be used to control the Tv, lights etc. but we never mastered that. The only criticism...

The good: the hotel is nicely placed right at the centre of Saas Fee village, yet very close to the lifts. Breakfast is a stunning feast of local delicacies. Rooms are nicely furnished with a modern touch, still true to the local essence and tradition. The bad: My iPad was locked into my in room safe on day 1 as...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel The Dom - Where tradition and today meet Our hotel is situated in the center of Saas-Fee, a location with the best-possible guarantee of snow in Europe, and embedded in the typical architecture of the 19th century, when tourism was dominated by the English. In 2011 we restored this historical building, the oldest hotel in the village, at great effort and, at the same time, with great care. The interior captivates with its modern elegance paired with antique elements. Our lovingly furnished 28 rooms also offer you technological comfort of the highest standard. Each room comes with an iPad, and thus for the duration of your stay in our hotel you have access to a diverse and individually tailored information and entertainment offering. ... more   less
