Wow, what a transformation! This was my second visit to the Rosalp following a decidedly dodgy experience last year however the management of this property has changed to a new operator Ski Armadillo who have a strong reputation in Verbier and desevedly so. The Rosalp enjoys probably the best location for skiers in town just a short walk to the... More

Booked a five star chalet post Christmas for a week through Ski Armadillo. The day before we were informed it was not available but their four star hotel was available. With no alternative available we accepted this. But this so called four star hotel was operated more like a two star hostel. Rooms were not made up nor cleaned for... More

We were a group of 3 staying in 2 rooms for the week starting the 18 March 2012. We had a room in the new wing on the top floor and our friend had a top flor room in the old wing. Both rooms were clean, large and had a great view over the valley. The location is about as... More

The hotel was relaxing and comfortable. The food was delicious and the staff were without exception charming, fun and helpful. The hotel is right in the hub of things and close to the lift. Amazing I cant praise it enough. The rooms are enormous with lovely fluffy white robes to put on at the end of a tiring days skiing.

Wow just got back from a week at the Rosalp, Verbier, Where do I start? The location of the hotel is second to none and is only a 2 minute walk to the Medran ski lift. There was enough white powder to enjoy some excellent Skiing and the weather was exceptional but what really topped the week off was the... More

I stayed at the Rosalp, along with my 34 friends, from the 11th to the 18th of March 2012. It is located close to the Medran lift station, about a 5 minute stroll, and surrounded by ski hire shops (NB1 is one of the best for value) and bars. It consists of the older wing, in which I stayed, and... More

Stayed at the Rosalp for a week from 4th March travelling with Ski Total. Other reviews made us mindful of dated decor and furnishing, but given the price point Ski Total had this at for such a fantastic location and "chalet board", we were happy to put up with this. Whilst some of the communal furniture is dated (purely in... More

Starting with the good The Rosalp is reasonably priced for such an expensive resort and is in a fantastic location within 100 yards of the Medran lift and smack in the centre of Verbier with every decent bar, restaurant, club and shop right on your doorstep. Every review of this chalet hotel commends the helpfulness and enthusiasm of the staff... More

We very much welcome the praise for our staff's service and enthusiasm. However, expectations regarding food quality and quantity can be particularly subjective, and it may be helpful to other travellers to learn that this season the food produced by the Rosalp team has been variously described as "fabulous", "good" and "plentiful" in other reviews. Indeed over 300 guests have... More

We were a party of 18 staying for a week's skiing and walking. The Rosalp was styled in a previous era, but the enthusiasm and helpfulness of the staff was fantastic. “All the rooms in our party of six were of a good size with excellent bathrooms and showers but for the best rooms try103, 104 and 105 on the first floor with large balconies and great views or 206 on the second floor up in the eaves. If you want peace and quiet ask for rooms at the side or back but you will lose the views and the afternoon sun.”
