I came to Vevey for business but wanted to try something new by staying a little far away in Leysin. Even though it took me over an hour to get to work with public transport, the homeliness of the hotel and the breathtaking view was totally worth it. When I arrived in Leysin, it was already dark and the fog... More

Hotel Tour d'Aï made our stay in Leysin truly pleasant: our room was very clean, beds comfortable, bathroom immaculately cleaned and above all, the hotel staff was always extremely friendly and helpful. Our objective was to stay in the village for a few days to enjoy the scenery and fresh air. Hotel Tour d'Aï made it possible, since in addition... More

This is a great place to stay cheaply in Switzerland in summer if you don't mind driving up and down the mountain on a daily basis (if you want to visit local attractions). Leysin is really a winter resort, so staying here in summer is good value...but if you get bad weather and the clouds roll in, expect thick fog... More

A traditional hotel with wooden furniture and wooden wall panels. Not luxurious but very functional. My room had a balcony and a multi channel TV with mainstream British TV channels. Breakfast was served from 06.30 with a selection of freshly baked bread and croissants. The hotel is about a ten minutes walk from Leysin Village station. There is a bus... More

As a family of three we received a large room with a double bed and two single beds. The beds were horrible and it seems that the mattress should have been replaced long ago. The light in the room was so weak so you can barely see anything. The WiFi was very weak so you can barely use it. On... More

Vers clean, no nonsense basic accommodation. It takes 15 - 20 mins from the main highway exit to get to the hotel higher up in the mountains, it is a nice curvey road with great scenery. The hotel staff was very friendly despite of our late arrival. We had a relaxing night, few drinks in the hotel and 7 hours... More

Switzerland isn't the cheapest of places and so we booked this good value hotel (£61 B&B for two) on the drive down to Rome. Although it is a little basic and tired, it is in a way 'charming' in a massive log cabin kind of way. Large, clean room at the back of hotel, with a balcony overlooking the snow... More

We liked this hotel very much. We got 2 nice rooms with a lovely balcony. A view from the balcony was really charming. A breakfast was very nice and a staff friendly and (important!) English speaking. It is only 30 minutes driving to Montreaux and Vevey. Very recommended!
