We stayed here for 2 nights, we had a lovely clean, quiet room overlooking their customer car park, which has ample space for vehicles and has a security code to enter from street. Bed was very comfy. Tea & Coffee in room. Gavin was welcoming and helpful, staff all friendly and chatty,. Lovely spread for breakfast, first day we had...

A friend of mine booked me into the what I thought was a Bed and Breakfast but I was so amazed to find a true Townhouse. It was just amazing and with a super car park right in the centre of this historic town. We received a great reception with wonderful home made gateaux and tea. One glance about and...

Stayed for one night. Location is great for town. The property is very pretty, decorated with a lot of trinkets and treasures ! and the parking is ample and very secure. We were happy to find this "jewel" after a long day of travel. This quaint, beautifully decorated guesthouse had the feel of a small hotel from a British drama! The room was large and comfortable and overlooked the colorful shops below. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast served on lovely china. We highly recommend a stop here.

We’ve stayed at the Red Setter several times over the past few years, and we’re always impressed. From the impressive secure car park (it’s actually quite lovely!), to the friendly welcome, the comfortable rooms and eclectic artwork and prints, it’s just a very pleasant place to be. Thanks Gavin and staff – keep up the good work!

Stayed here with 2 girls in July for one night and it could not have been nicer. Easy to find with big secure gated off street parking at the rear. The courtyard at the back was a little suntrap and really well tended to with flowers and stonework. The room we got was huge, a double and 2 single beds....

I have stayed here several times within the last 2 years & absolutely love it. The rooms are delightfully quaint & extremely tasteful. Bathrooms have been modernised to ensure a power shower to enjoy! Gavin & Triona are so friendly & have always made us feel at home here. Whilst situated right in the centre of Carlow town, its away...

We stayed here for 2 nights and were welcomed by very friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and beds were very comfortable. Our room was pretty quiet for being in the center of town -- the only drawback of this b&b was the thin walls (we could hear our neighbor snoring at night). Fantastic stay.

Book this guest house on the strength of its looks and central area to the town. Booked it on booking.Com and got the confirmation. The evening before we were to set of this guest house ring me to tell me I have no booking as they don't accept Visa debit cards. My argument is that I have a booking confirmation...
