We choose Family suite, which is so specious and perfect for us, 1 living room , a bathroom (with shower) , a little partition personal space for bunk bed and kid’s working space. And another one bedroom with huge bathroom with bathtub.

Door between living room and bedroom, so let adult can work, during my kid play around.

Our room was in the low building which is close to the resort main pool and near the kid-pool area, it’s very convenient for my kid for going in-out between room &pool many times a day.

This room is perfect for us, thanks to recommend from reservation staff.

Due to this pandemic situation , the hotel only open one restaurant for all meals.

For Morning breakfast buffet , there are enough choices of food ,juices, bread&cheese. They all taste good. Special thanks to restaurant team, Khun tak, Khun namaoey, Khun Aor , Khun Jib and others (sorry that I can’t remember their names). I always had breakfast only with my kid, but there is no problem or difficulties for us. They always kindly offer picking us some foods which very helpful for me managing my kid’s plate. Even my kid had nose bleeding they quickly prepare the ice and a lot of tissue paper for clean up. I’m so sorry for messing up.

Lunch and Dinner menu almost the same(we stayed in weekday, I’m not sure for weekend’s choice) , one plate portion is quite big, and “Kid Pizza” is very tasty, my kid loves it so much.

Pool’s restaurant is also nice , the chicken wing is delicious.

We really happy and enjoy every meal there.

The kid club , there are choices of toys from baby to toddler and grown up kid. Also outdoor play area at the kid club itself . We would like to thanks to ,P’Game, for your kind and provide us many enjoyable activities.

The beach, the pathway from the resort to beach is quite hard for kid, there are steep steps to go down to the beach.
Beach is not so clean, there are some sharp shells, and some litters which I think it’s the same for Pattaya beach, better to wear beach sandal for kid. However, there still some clear sand spot that kid’s sand playing.
Morning and the evening is good time for beach strolling.

Lastly, I would like to say thank you for room cleaning staff, she was paying full attention to guest, my husband need to work in the room , she’s try not to clean room during he stay in room or not to use vacuum cleaner because it might effect to his work. She offer to do the vacuum again when we leave for lunch time. I’m so impressed with her detail attention.

Awesome hotel with wonderful location and food.

Rooms are well spaced with expected amenities

We are Indian vegetarians, and were lucky to find chef Ram who helped us with big range of indian meals (off the menu), he was superior in cooking and service. Wish him best and if we do go back it will be only for him.

The only reason for me holding back a star is the service, which was slow and at times not as per instructions. We had a few cases where service was bad.

I came to this hotel with my family, we booked 9 rooms for a week stay here as its a new hotel and we wanted to try it out. Khun Martin(the staff manager) went out of his way to help us with all our needs. Normally I don't write much reviews as it takes alot of my time but today i give this hotel a full 5 star because the service i had was just amazing. Khun Martin and his team went out of their way to accommodate our needs and were super nice about it. I stayed at a fair share of luxury hotels myself as we travel every month to new places, so i'm pretty picky about the location of my room and make sure to get all the services I did. The staff here were super friendly and helpful and met all my needs without giving any complaints.(normally i get some dirty looks because I do request alot of stuff) But this team was great and I just wanted to give a big shout out for doing such a good job.

Only small downside I have to say about this hotel is that the room service food wasn't that great. if they can get the food quality a bit higher it would be great.

My wife and I came to the hotel for our anniversary. We made the decision to book the hotel for its name and reputation for its brand.

From the time I entered the hotel the person who checked us in was not clear of what she was saying. We have specifically mentioned that it was our anniversary and booked the room with a king size bed but we got a twin room with separate beds.

I got over that and asked about how are the dinner service if it was buffet or al a carte and then they said that dinner is fully booked and I can order in room service.

After I was at the pool and trying to relax and enjoy the evening with my wife. And then we saw that the restaurant near the pool area was closed for the resident guest and getting prepared for a Outside function.

When we went to the beach to enjoy the sunset and then it was so annoying the people at the function started their sound testing and it was so unpleasant and disturbing. And then they started the function with loud music and compeering the event on loud speakers throughout the evening.

I made a call to the reception to complain about the situation and the person who spoke on the phone could not understand the problem and I asked if I could talk to the manager. They said the manager is busy and I had to walk all the way from the beach to the reception to make my complaint about the noise.

When I came to the reception there was a person called Toni ( I’m not sure of the name exactly) who identified himself as the manager of the hotel. When I made my complaint he said he can’t do anything because no one els complaint about it and he is sorry. And walked away.

This is a bad experience for me and my wife and we never want to come to this place ever again for the bad customer service from the people at the front desk.

On a good note I have to say the pool bar staff was excellent and welcoming.

Despite your early arrival on a busy day, our ambassador tried her best to check you and your wife in three hours earlier than the standard check-in time; moreover, she tried to accommodate your requests by liaising with the respective departments to make the special arrangement for you and your wife. During this diffucult time, this property remains its standard as high as it should be, even better.

Khun Noi assisted us for the check-in and check-out which super accomodating and polite, thank you. Room is great and spacious, waking up with ocean view is priceless. Bathroom is clean and enough space for the tub.

One thing to say is we impressed with the level of cleanliness, every glass in the room were in the sealed in the plastic bag which show the attention to the customer hygiene during this situation.

Dinner is also awesome, we decided to have Indian menu which was super delicious ! (Tandoori, Lamp and paneer). Breakfast is various and enoug staff to take care all guest, staff at BF also nice and friendly. Pool & gym are great as the same.

Special thanks to Khun Denis, Khun Hamza and Khun May for taking care of us during stay.

Strongly recommend for great place to relax and refresh your weekend  :)

This hotel is south of Jomtien, there’s nothing around it. Aesthetically is rather ugly, just a big block of concrete with very little green, no imagination or character in the design of the building, lobby, communal areas, rooms. Hotel is located in the middle of a quite ugly and run down area with many stray dogs running around…

Service: they provide just the minimum, nobody with proper training or the personality to deal with an international clientele. No special welcome for Elite Bonvoy guests, as in other Marriott Group properties. No proper turn down service. Nobody helps guests by the adult pool, you take your towel, if you want a drink you need to go to the bar and ask for it, no good morning, nobody cares if you are there. Nobody tells you if there are any activities going on or any restaurant or bar deals.
If you want to leave the hotel you need to be very careful, the main road is under construction and there’s no pavement or safe area for pedestrians, it’s all thought for cars and not for people. If you leave by the beach and you are scared of dogs… well, there were at least 15 a few steps away from the hotel gate plus the beach becomes dirty, nobody collects the rubbish.
There are two pools, one full of families with children with all their toys and their weird swimming costumes (I wonder what the water quality is when people practically swim dressed from head to toe plus eat and drink in the pool…). The adult pool is a bit better, but no service in the area at all, not even a system to call a waiter and order a drink.
The decking around the adult pool is damaged and it could be dangerous.
The room was spacious but simply furnished and with no character, it could have been be in a business hotel anywhere in the world. Bed was comfortable but no coffe machine in the room (5 star property in 2022…) plus they forgot to replenish the “lovely” Nescafe sachets, also forgot to replenish toiletries in the bathroom (no bath salts, no body lotion) and the electricity plug did not work, I could not shave near a mirror…
The sea view (we paid a big extra for it) was ok, shame about two revolting enormous buildings next door to us.

Breakfast was unpleasant, too many screaming children and people who seemed out of a little village in the middle of nowhere. The quality of the food was average, usual stuff plus very bad bread (butter croissants were incredibly dry), not great chinese dim sum and average quality sausages. No proper natural juices but only industrial watery stuff.
I can’t believe this hotel is a Renaissance, there must be a mistake.
I don’t understand how a brand with an international reputation allows one of its properties to be like this. I would understand if the price was reasonable but here they have the courage to charge premium prices and claim to be 5 star when the whole experience is well below 4…
This hotel might be ok for a conference but definitely not good enough for any other purpose.

The Renaissance Pattaya proved to be the perfect choice for our three generation five day family break. The two bedroom beachfront villa we occupied, which is their ultimate premium accommodation provided comfortable and attractive living space, a patio and substantial private infinity pool fronting on the beach below and with a panoramic view of the coastline, distant islands and a perfect sunset vista. Other private pool and poolside villas were also of a very high standard. Our party including my daughter and son in law, two grandsons aged 9 and 11 visiting us from the U. K. and my Thai life partner and myself all benefited equally from the extensive amenities and facilities this lovely property offered. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally impressive with both a vast range of offerings but equally importantly constantly replenished by the attentive, charming and professional staff under the watchful and considerate overview of F&B manager Jonnie as indeed he was when presiding over his staff at dinners at the hotels signature beachfront Grill restaurant Pebbles with its quality mainly seafood and steak cuisine. The high standard of this delightful property ultimately owes its excellence to GM Bruno Rotschaelde, a 28 year highly admired veteran of Marriott, who’s recent appointment to the helm of this property ensures not only the ongoing achievements of this resort hotel, but the promise of yet further innovative and exciting enhancements to improve if this is possible on near perfection already. Consequently this property provided us with a truly delightful and memorable family vacation we will long remember with great pleasure.

I got a room upgrade from the hotel and the room is very spacious and nice. There were no turn down service like other hotels in the chain but that was not a problem for me.

Breakfast at the hotel was quite busy even it was on Thursday. I was there around 9.30am, tables were almost full and some available tables haven't cleaned yet. I told the staff who escorted me inside that I needed to sit at one specific table and she has already appointed one of the staff to clean the table for me. I've waited there for a while and no one came to clean the table and then there were another couple came with another staff to sit at that table and I still was left there with no attention from anyone. Until I said that I didn't want to have breakfast anymore the staff tried to find the table for me. And when I told them about the situation they just left me walked back to my room without any apologies.

I've stayed at several hotels in the Bonvoy chain and choose this chain almost every time I organized company outings and always impressed with their service standards. But with this situation, I'm not sure if keep attaining their gold elite status is worth enough.

Without a doubt, the Renaissance Pattaya remains truly our favorite hotel to visit for a long weekend getaway. It always feels like home especially thanks to the great team, who have been there for many years. In the car from Bangkok my two daughters always start to recall the names of the team members that have helped make such great memories for them. As parents in addition to the warm, friendly and courteous service, we love the food, the cleanliness and the facilities. The hotel is built slightly up a cliff, and is therefore to a certain extent enclosed. Our kids can therefore walk around freely on the hotel grounds, and we feel secure with a peace of mind that they won’t go missing. The kids club has a great set-up, and even my nine year old still enjoys to visit being engaged by the staff to participate in the countless activities which are mostly free of charge. The food and beverages are consistently great, with an excellent mix of comfort food, Thai, Italian, Japanese and Indian with two International Chefs from Italy and France always in helpful and hands on in guest facing positions. Once again I would like to thank all the staff that have made our recent stay most memorable. Thank you Khun Au, Ton, Fur, Game, Pookie, Johnie, Martin, Noi and many more! This hotel is on a semi-private beach and is less than 2 hours from Bangkok. I was able to book a special package deal with my Bonvoy membership. Considering that it’s located in Pattaya, the beach isn’t great, but it’s better than most other places. My daughter absolutely loved the kids club and spent most of her time there. The kids club staff are great! Kudos and two thumbs up to them! I also tried some of the fitness classes offered, would do the Just Dance class again. Bed was good. Bathtub in every room. The breakfast buffet was a bit slow due to Covid restrictions not allowing guests to serve themselves. The staff were working really hard to be friendly and enthusiastically meet every guest’s food requests. The hotel is built on a slope, so it’s a bit of a walk down the stairs to the beach, but the hotel is designed well with two infinity pools that give you a great view. The biggest drawback were the food choices at the restaurants, particularly the Pebbles one. I wish they had more western choices. The hotel is located far from local restaurants, so you have to drive to get to a restaurant or a convenience store. If I find another special deal on the Bonvoy app, I will definitely be back! The kids club was definitely a highlight for my family!
