Absolutely love this place have been back again and again. The instructors are the best I have ever found from years of surfing badly all over the world 😂 they will actually help you improve and teach you what you need to move forward and practice without tuition. Great atmosphere around Brunos, and the beach is amazing to learn on....

Stayed here 3 times now. And solo each time. What's not to like. The staff are awesome, the other travellers are too. And as someone who has surfed (badly) for years.... the tuition is too notch. I'll be back next summer!!!

A friend recommended to go here for a sporty holiday. I came and got more than expected. Place is regarded as the best surfing camp around and it truly holds up to its name. I stayed here 2nd October till 16th so 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute. Instructors are great, I like how staff pretty much learn all people...

The only negative of the Baleal Family Surf camp is that the week goes way too fast. We had a most wonderful family holiday and wish we were still there. Baleal Surfcamp is located right on the beach and accommodations are walking distance away. Peniche turns out to be a surfing mecca in Portugal and the advantage of the area...

We booked the Family Week and it was fantastic. The staff were all really helpful from the initial contact and booking, to our arrival and throughout the whole holiday. Special thanks to Barbara and Emily for sorting everything out and making everything run so smoothly. It was a great mix of being organised and yet relaxed! Our surf instructors -...

This is really a quick review about the surf school rather than the accommodation or property as we weren't resident. I just wanted to say how pleased we were with the organisation, hiring of wetsuits and surfboards and the private lesson we had with our instructor Nounou. The staff were fun and delightful and more than went out of their...

I had been to Baleal Surf Camp 2 years ago, as a solo traveler. This year I decided to return with a friend. We weren't disappointed. All of the surf instructors are really friendly, funny and supportive. They are keen to see everyone improve and are always on hand with good advice, even outside of surf sessions. Thanks to Joao...

I have always dreamt about learning how to surf one day. When the opportunity came, I looked up the best spots to surf (no doubt, there are a few in Portugal), then went through a number of offers online. Naturally, competition is fierce and every surfcamp tries to concinve you that theirs is the place to be. On account of...
