We visited Ca Vittoria durring our summerholiday in june. We ate lunch. We are a famiky of three, mum, dad and eleven-year-old son. We ate a tastingmenu. Dad and son took a menu with meat and mums menu was vegetarian. Both versions were well made and planned. The service was first class. The athmosphare was light, friendly and we enjoyed 3 hours talking together as a family. We have a lot of experience about food, service and wines. This was one of the best ones! Both adults and our son loved the place!

We were fortunate to be taken to this wonderful Restaurant by a friend who knows the area. The entire dining experience was simply wonderful. The beautiful Piedmont area has it's special dishes and ingredients, but Chef Massimiliano's careful and innovative handling of these delicacies is a triumph. The dishes are intrinsically local and at the same time bold, exciting and utterly delicious. Local game, hazelnuts and truffles feature - but it is all exquisite. There is considerable flexibility with various set menus and A'la Carte options. Beware - the bread in many varieties is so good it should probably come with a warning! The service is perfect - not overly fussy, much like the food - a delicate combination of local family charm and fine dining. This is Michelin dining with Piedmont heart and soul. We stayed in a nearby village - but my advice is to truly immerse yourself and stay overnight in the wonderful boutique hotel run by the family.

We stayed for 4 days in the hotel and were very warmly welcomed by the lady-mother of the house, who provided us during our stay excellent hospitality. The breakfast was served outside on the terrace with on top of the regular offering also freshly baked own pastry. The hotel’s restaurant is a Michelin one-star restaurant which is proven from start to finish: excellent service, nice menus accompanied by excellent wines, but also at a one-star price. The rooms were very clean and nice. However an opportunity for improvement is the pool area: the pool is rather old (liner inside the pool is getting loose) but moreover: despite the automatic robot cleaner as well as the cleaning/manual filtering of the cleaning lady, the water quality was rather poor: such that after one day of using the pool, we didn’t use it anymore. The water was not clear at all and we didn’’t see any filter/pumping system working during our stay. That’s a pity and a recommendation to get improved.

This hotel is set in the most wonderful valley, its charming, and well appointed rooms (very spacious shower), and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. If you are a truffle fan, you will not be disappointed between the months of October and February. Youre spoiled for choices of restaurants in the area, but my recommendation would be to eat at the hotels restaurant. A michellin starred affair, its not likely you will find anything more delightful in the country.

Very nicely decorated and restrucured old townhouse surrounded by a beautifull garden and the hills of Piemonte. The food is excellent and the price of the dishes is very reasonable. Breakfast is perfect: everything is home made. The 'lady of the house' is charming and offering a warm welcome. The place doesn't feel like a hotel, but like the house of friends.

The whole family Musso are totally wonderful. The welcome is as though you were long-lost family friends. The situation is magical and ultra quiet. Perfect to return to after a busy day exploring the vineyards around Alba. The restaurant is way above the usual one-star Michelin rating. The wine list is one of the very best we've seen at this level and certainly wouldn't shame some of the three star restaurants we've been to ! Valentina's knowledge of what she is proposing is quite simply remarkable. The food was intensely creative but anchored in the culinary traditions of Piedmont. Very much the kind of cooking we enjoy where every ingredient is recognizable and truly plays a meaningful role in the concept of the dish. We stayed two nights and had two wholly different tasting menus. Massimiliano also makes all the breads. They are all out-of-this-world. If his Maldon salt croissant was served in church there would be ques for communion ! The service is attentive and helpful but not invasive. After dinner comes breakfast served by Alessandra, the chef's Mum. Everything is home made and for those who want it Alessandra serves the most exquisite Parma ham to go with the Piedmontese herb omelet before you finish with a lightly caramelized pannacotta made by the Granny which is quite simply the most perfect pannacotta ever. If you believe in food you should eat this on your knees.
