Stayed here for an extended weekend and we were warned not to have high expectations. Room was neat, clean and surprisingly big. Couple of down sides, back security screen door wouldn't lock and the toilet had an annoyingly short flush. Overall all though not a bad room. Bit of advice, don't bother with their supplied breakfast. When we were there...

I think this place survives getting away with extreme prices based on location only. There was nothing wrong with our experience here, just don't believe it was worth over $200 for one night. We had an event to attend in the area, so this was a good place to stay. We used the courtesy bus service to get to and...

A friend and I left the kids with the husbands and a had a girls weekend away. We were quite happy with our accomodation and it was what we expected for the price we payed. The spa in the room was a welcome bonus that you don't usually find in motels on the cheaper side. Apart from hearing noises from...

Spent an evening watching and enjoying Doug Parkinson in concert. He was very very good and his interpretations of songs made famous by Joe Cocker was first class. The sound system was very good and you were close up to the performer regardless of where you sat. If you haven't heard of Doug Parkinson look him up and you'll see...

Toastie room with pretty view of puddle in the grass. In all seriousness the heating and coziness of the room in arctic tempteratures this autumn was cozy and romantic. The only criticism was the rudeness of the unhelpful post menopausal receptionist working there on Sunday 12th June afternoon who grunted a few monosyllabic responses when pressed about good resteraunts to...

After booking months in advance and advising that we would be arriving at midday for a wedding just after 2pm, we were advised on arrival that we could't book in because check-in is a 2pm. They eventually advised us that we could have the room early with an extra $50 fee. We were one party of about 10 rooms that...

Be prepared to wait for up tp 45 mins. for a average meal, meat was ok, vegies were cold. The fuction room although large did not have enough tables and chairs to accommodate for people to be seated. Sadly I had to leave half way through the show as I was unable to stand up any longer. The show..... tribute...

This hotel has a wonderful reception desk service which is very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are neat, clean and welcoming. It is a little bit of of the way though easy to find and only a short drive to restaurants if you don't choose to eat at the tavern attached. The beds are nice and comfortable with a large...

With tickets to A Day on the Green, we booked the York on Lilydale as was within 30 minutes of the winery we were to attend. The reviews we read were a little mixed but we were happy to run with the booking. As we live approximately 4 hours away, I reconfirmed the reservation by phone the day before with...
