Tidy rooms, quite and beautiful grounds for the kids to explore. Meals very large in size and value for money. Many activities available for the whole family to enjoy. Great family photo opportunity. Pretty! Lovely staff. Pool very warm and has a nice safe paddle pool off to the side, which worked very well for our 3 year old. It...

We stayed in a room in the main building. The bed and pillows were old and lumpy. Lack of maintenance and cost cutting very evident: burnt out iron, holes in bed cover, huge old ironing board that took up all the hanging space, mean little pocket pack of tissues. Glass shelf directly under shower made showering awkward. Don't use their...

I stayed in a standard room in the main building with a large group over Christmas. Unfortunately our room was tired and unloved. The beds are awful, the iron didn't work, the hair dryer did work but was covered in something rather sticky and the shower was not clean. The attention to detail was non existent. Other guests in our...

We stayed three nights in a two bedroom apartment and everything was clean. The apartment was huge with balcony offering a view on the golf course. The reception lady was more than helpful. We felt like home. we definitely recommend this place. The value for money is unbeatable.

Stayed at the Aspect Tamar Valley Resort, for 4 nights. This was a lovely setting with the the resort built like a Swiss chalets. Other residences in the area also display a Swiss feel to the houses. There is a small shopping centre within the resort a few shops for guests and visitors. The resort has motel accommodation and self...

Girls shopping weekend to Launceston. Great resort, short drive from the city but setting, peace & quiet worth it. We didn't take advantage of all the facilities - pool, tennis, mini golf, lake rides but did enjoy the restaurant, village shops & twilight Christmas market. The villa we stayed in was cosy but fine for 2, would be a squash...

The room was a premier spa suite with a large balcony overlooking a fountain and lawns on the first floor. The resort does not supply a lift and access to the first floor is by way of a staircase. The room was large and well appointed and serviced each day

My son had his wedding here (12th November). We were booked to have the wedding near the lake when but with wet weather predicted on the day we were advised to have it indoors. A good thing it was too because it poured and poured and poured! Staff were all great and nothing was too much trouble for them. The...

We enjoyed the resort's wonderful rural setting a short drive from Launceston. The accommodation was clean, well maintained and comfortable. The Swiss style village square with bakery, shops and games arcade made the stay unique. The chalets were attractive and well spaced, many with a good view of the lake, golf course and surrounding area. We had two meals at the...
