We held our wedding party at Hotel Scheid in September 2016 drinks by the river followed by a delicious dinner. The staff are friendly, helpful and very service minded. You cannot fault this place, everything is first class. Thanks to Birgit and her team.

Food and service very personable and very tasty! There is a nice bar area. Rooms are very small and hard to maneuver in. There is a very nice outside sitting area and view with a stream, fountain and the mountains.

a large group of classic car owners used this hotel + restaurant for 3 nights + 3 evening meals in June 2016. Situated on a no-through road, but with plenty of visiting traffic in the mornings for the attached bakery. Nearby Bundestrasse (main road) to Trier meant continual traffic noise if room windows left open. Our room was of good...

Had a pleasant stay for the weekend. Ideal location to visit neighbouring tourist sites like Trier, Saarburg and Luxemburg. New and stylish bathroom ensuite, very much liked the atmosphere. Situated near the river Mosel, ideal for a short walk along the river. The restaurant in the hotel is very ambitious and tries to offer seasonal food at a high quality....

A family managed small hotel outside Trier, attractive new interior. WLan not max at rear rooms, breakfast cold cuts and cheese platters freshly prepared. Everything simple but good, very clean place. Had dinner, was ok but not thrilled about the cuisine. Sounds great on the menu but the execution was seriously lacking in quality and skill.

We were stopping here for dinner and checked out the hotel as well for an eventual futur trip. The hotel is located in a small village at the border of Luxembourg and Germany in the Moselarea. Very clean rooms, a family business with friendly service. The restaurant has a very nice terrasse at the backyard, the service was very friendly...

Very good hotel. The staff is most helpful and friendly. We booked a room for 2 adults + a 2-year old child. The room was very nice and clean, with a baby bed for our child. The bathroom was clean too. It takes a while before the warm water come out, but once it's there, it gives for a nice...

The room was beautifully presented, modern, bright and very clean with crispy white bed linen. The bathroom looked new and was also very clean. We ate in the garden but it wasn't such a pleasant space and could be improved with a little effort, food was quite good but expensive and there is nowhere else to eat close by. Breakfast...

We used the hotel for a stop over, it is advertised as having a nice restaurant with a fountain. The restaurant was in the car park with no sign of a fountain. The food was good however and the staff were very accommodating. The room were were allocated was very noisy due to its closeness to the motorway. There was...
