Back from a fantastic week in Amberley in which we frequented The Amberley Inn twice, the second time enjoying one of the best pork escalope ever! The meat is sourced from a local butcher and all 3 family meals were of a similar high quality. The service was very good. The night we ate they were busy and it was...

Thank-you for letting us know how much you enjoyed your meals at the Amberley. I have passed your comments on to the Chef who was very pleased to have his escalope so highly praised. We hope to see you when you are next in the area and thank you for your recommendation to other visitors in the area looking for...

Lovely location high on a hill , with a nice garden and comfortable, well equipped rooms. We were allowed to eat in the lounge bar with our dog and the food was lovely, It's a shame that there is no breakfast included for online bookings - if you book direct you get breakfast in the price. Bit of a cheek...

Thanks for your review. Online booking agents are always demanding as cheap rates as possible- this justifies their existance to users but also their exhorbitant referral rates they then charge the business. In order to keep room rates competitive for agents and the guest, we give you the option of having breakfast or not (£5.95 for a light breakfast and...

Having lived here nearly 30 years this is the first time we have visited The Amberly Inn. The food was good quality pub grub. The sticky toffee pudding was great pub grub. Service was a bit slow but as we were chatting with friends it wasn't a problem.

This hotel is very charming and pretty and in a good location. We stayed in room 12 which is spacious and beautifully decorated. A couple of niggles which detracted from our stay. We only stayed 2 nights but our bins (bathroom & bedroom ) weren't emptied and our toilet roll wasn't replaced. The mattress was quite thin and cheap and...

Delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope and trust we see you again soon. Breakfast is not automatically included in all our room rates (especially when not booked direct) to ensure that room rates are as competitive as possible and we find many travellers are keen not to pay for something they will not require do...

Took our dog on a weekend break away to the Amberley inn. The staff made her feel ever so welcome! Biscuits and bowl of water whilst we dined in the snug of the bar. The food was lovely. The room we stayed in was very clean, well equipped and the bed was really comfortable and had a good night's sleep....

Stayed overnight with a friend. Great location from which to explore the Cotswolds. We were given a free upgrade to a superior twin room. The room had good facilities and was very clean, minor problems with the remote control and only one set of toiletries. Breakfast was excellent with great local produce. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and...

Thank-you very much for all your positive feedback. We appreciate knowing about your thoughts on the warmth of the room and whilst we cannot incorporate air conditioning units in an eighteenth century inn, I will make sure fans are available for guests in future.....which I hope does'nt now ensure our summer months are now officially over! Hope to see you...
