Having visited the tiger Inn yesterday and having read a few negative reviews i found bewildering as this place was top shelf customer service. Didn't reserve a table but the waiter said wait 5 minutes as all were reserved but one table hadn't turned up, none the less we got the table:) ordered food lamb cobbler, mussels and the Stilton...

We waited 40 minutes for our lunch on a day when the pub could be deemed to be not stretched to their fullest cover. I had a steak and ale pie (swopped new potatoes for fries, I regret!) and my son had a home made burger. Be warned that the fries came heavily salted to the extent that my mouth...

The only pub in this lovely village and what a treat. Cosy atmosphere, comfy seats in a number of smaller areas sectioned off which give a feeling of intimacy. Eclectic collection of furniture which sets this place above other mass purchased places. Lovely menu, huge range of choices from traditional pub to more unusual choices. And a few specials. Blackened...

We reserved a table for eight, it was a little cramped but ok. We told them that we had small dogs with us which was ok if we sat in the pub not restaurant, due to the health law. It took a while for the food to arrive, it was pretty busy, but everything was very good. My brother in...

I hate writing negative reviews however this one is well overdue. We lived in East Dean for 12 years & still live locally. The Tiger Inn has become a huge disappointment. Despite a lovely improvement in the decor, this pub has lost its soul as a nice pub with great food & atmosphere for a meal with friends or family....

What a lovely location just stunning. Greeted by friendly professional staff was seated very quickly offered a good selection of wines. The menus small but great choice also sandwiches and light bites available. Child and dog friendly the chef really is talented lots of lovely and different ideas to choose from. Will be back soon.

I don't normally write negative reviews but this embarrassed me. I was travelling with my little dog and was told it was dog friendly. I went in to order food, expecting to sit outside, and was kindly told I could sit inside. I explained that my dog would not stay on the ground and she would want to sit beside...

Hi DancingRhinos, Your experience in my pub has truly shocked me. We are very dog friendly, we love dogs we also offer free dog treats to all guests. I am at a loss as to why this would have happened to you and who would have spoken to you in that way. It would be appreciated if you could contact...

We chose 'The Tiger Inn' for my mum's 'big' birthday celebrations which we booked as a surprise - a surprise which was really helped by the friendly staff both when booking and on arrival (and needing to hide flowers, cakes and presents from my eagle eyed mum!) We stayed in rooms, Grace and Elizabeth - both rooms were really clean,...

It's not often you fall instantly in love with a pub, but I did with the Tiger From welcoming staff to great beer (Harvey's) and a treats bowl for dogs this pub goes the extra mile The day we went the pub was up for an award in the evening (see pic) and it's easy to see why. I'm sad...

Perfectly situated on the Green in East Dean, The Tiger boasts an ideal position. I've often been temnpted in when we've been down visiting the Aged P's, but had never made it until this past weekend. After a lovely drive over Beachy Head, my wife and I popped in for a swift pint before going back to base. The staff...
