Booked a villa with a seaview. There is no beach, a wall is seperating the sea and a field.

Unfortunately, the hotel management allowed a teenager school to stay overnight under caping tents on THAT field.
Impossible to enjoy both seaview and terrace. Very noisy campsite.

On checkout, staff apologized but they were totally unable to answer other thing than "sometimes" when asked if such groups were welcomed quite frequently.

About the villa itself : better maintenance is needed. Water leak under the bathtub. Fridge must be cleaned !
Sometimes it's possible to hear a noisy water pump.

Swimming pool : quite wide and enjoyable.
Please note if you're wearing a swimming suit in a western style, this place won't be the best for you, as it is mainly frequented by Malays who have their own wet clothes.

Breakfast : just average. Just hurry up to grab what you want if you are sitting on closing time. Staff won't bother themselves to ask you if you still want something before removing all plates.

we checked-in on the new year eve for 2 nights after reading the good reviews written by others about this place. The room is average with basic amenities, a small fridge and a built in wardrobe.

we love the big pool but there mind you there was no beach. But that was not a big issue because the Klanang and Morib beach is just few metres away. The breakfast served here were tasty.
check in and checkout was fast with no hassle.

location wise, it is about 15- 20 minutes away from town and other historical places like Jugra.

overall, we did enjoy our short staycation with Impian Hotel.

We decided to book the hotel based on friend's review and it turned out to be a good decision. The staff were friendly and helpful, always with a smile but unfortunately hardly spoke English. The management should do something about it if they want to attract international tourists.
The chalet that we checked in was spacious, clean with nice ambience. The downside is the bathroom sink has only cold tap instead of C/H mixer.
The breakfast spread are quite nice but a bit limited choice. The pool is big but lack of umbrella shading the loungers.
Just a reminder, please be extra careful with the main road in front of the hotel as the local drivers tend to drive recklessly. In addition, there are not many restaurant to choose especially at night and the shops are not in walking distance and closed early.

Over the past 20 years we have travelled to and stayed, in many diferent hotels throughout Malaysia. We found Villea Morib for the first time (!) and I can say that it is one of the best places we have ever stayed!
The buildings are beautiful. The architure is a real treat. It's like going back in time to how all the best hotels once were. It's not tired and dated at all. Just fabulously old style!
The manager Azuera makes such a difference. She is a bubbly, intelligent, kind, helpful and genuine person. She makes you feel welcome and special and she treats her staff the same way.
The room is big and spacious, with a very comfortable bed, air con and a decent shower. Housekeeping do a great job, far better than many of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in.
The pool is huge and not cold, its like taking a warm bath. Very nice! The gardens overlook the sea and the sunsets are spectacular. You can drive to the beach...it's less than 5 minutes away. It has clean, soft sand and when the tide is low you can walk out or milers. It's quite amazing!
Breakfast has plenty of options, even for vegetarians like us.
If you want to do some shopping, the town is a 15 minute drive away, and although there isn't a 'mall' everyhing you could possibly want is available.
If you are looking for somewhere to have a break, with some peace and quiet, then I would highly recommend it here.
Its definitely somewhere that we will come to again.

We enjoyed our 2 nights there! Friendly and attentive staff; comfortable room; great breakfast (we loved the pastry/croissant!) and nice pool. Clean rooms, great service! Fantastic breakfast buffet with great variety of food! Other than that, nice pool. Parking was free if you stay in hotel. The staff was very courteous. Highly recommended for staycation.

I am having a workshop here for 3 days. My guys booked up the place and arranged everything. I only checked up the reviews of this hotel after signing off for the payment. Not good. The reviews on Tripadvisor gave me sleepless nights. But it was too late for changes. I was very worried for my outstation colleagues. I can always retreat to my safe heaven aka home but they will be stuck. Worst was I need them to work till late night.

Anyway the moment I reach the place...it was good news. The entrance was simple and pleasant aka quiet. It was fantastic and fits the kind of workshop we are having. The kind that you lock yourself up in the seminar room and throw away the key. There is nothing around and a mediocre beach. I will be exploring the beach more tomorrow if time permits and review it. Rooms are lavish and deco is chic. They had extra 3 pillows in the room. That's generous. The rooms are clean. The bath is spacious, water is hot and pressure was great. I have no complains at all. Sufficient cable channels to surf around.

The check in refreshment was yucky but the dinner made up for it. A single fly bugged me. I could tolerate that after all the reviews over Tripadvisor. Oh ya...the gym is 24 hours. You just have to get the keys at the reception to use. That's just fine by me. Swimming pool is inviting. I don't have the time to splash though.

My friends and I stayed for 2 nights at the chalets. The 6 years old hotel is surprisingly very well maintained and very clean. Although the beach is not the best around, the hotel pool was nice.

It is a very little known hotel. Even during our stay on a local public holiday, there were barely more than 15 visible guest. The place was really quiet.

It is situated very near to Banting town and 20min from Tanjung Sepat (well known for Seafood Bah Kut Teh, Pau and seafood restaurant)

Booked as a stopover hotel it was 30 miles from the airport and a 45minute drive even late at night. Hardly any English spoken. No facility for computer facility to allow online check in for flights. Rooms poor. Dirty pillows, stained toilet seat, broken toilet roll holder. Sink in bathroom only has cold tap (not mixer).Coffee making facilities consisted of faulty kettle, two Nescafe sachets, no milk, no tea.No spare pillows (only one each).. Fridge in room but totally empty, not even bottled water in it.
Food not to European tastes. Staff desperate to be helpful but spoke no English.
Hotel does not supply pool towels and the room towels were thin and threadbare. Big pool but no umbrellas and only 6 loungers. No alcohol in hotel.
Advised not to walk out alone at night. Shops not in walking distance. Advised not to swim from beach - too risky.
No local attractions, many miles from city. Definately not recommended for European travellers. Put the cost of two LONG taxi rides towards more expensive hotel nearer to airport.

Been to this hotel few years ago but it seem everything is quite the same. Booking this time was manage by someone else so I can't really commented on it. First impression, it does look a bit too quiet for some but that would change later.

Our superior room is quite large for a family with a 2 years old child to walk around & has a single bed and a queen size bed. TV channels have a few good variety but no cartoon channel for the little one. The furniture need some maintenance as a lamp in my room was missing it shade. A/C unit is functioning well as it was a hot day but the room is cool enough. Bathroom is poorly ventilated. Its windows were too high to reach without climbing on top of something. Therefore a stuffy smell like a damp cloth comes from it. The room faced the beautiful pool area so unless your room is on the first floor, the curtains is mostly downed.

Nothing much of activities were nearby. There's a small golf course, beach & some small restaurants around. The hotel pool area is quite inviting. However it seems that it is never close as you can hear people playing there even at night. The hotel F&B need to be improved. Dinner BBQ package was quite nice & plentiful but breakfast & lunch set was a let down. Lacks variety.

The down side of the hotel was there is no bottled water in the room unlike most hotel in the country. The bad thing was they sold it at the front desk after you asked for a bottled water! If you need to iron your clothes, you need to walk to the front desk & asked for it. There is a phone in the room but it can't be use to dial the front desk. Oh.. don't forget to return the iron at the front desk after 1 hour of usage. They can't even asked their worker to knock on your door to get the iron themselves.

Hi Cik Zanariah. Minta maaf sebab BM saya sangat terhad. 1. Promosi Groupon - RM178.00 untuk apartment 1 bilik termasuk sarapan pagi 2. Agoda 3. Morib Gold Coast Resort PT 294, Kawasan Kanchong Laut, Morib Beach, 42700 Banting, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia.
