We really enjoyed good home cooked food and friendly welcoming staff and relaxing atmosphere. We would highly recommend. The pub is a much bigger than it looks from the outside and has a friendly bar but also quiet dining areas

Used to visit about 40 years ago and it's changed a bit since then, much like myself!
It's got a few gins and beers and the food being served looked good. We had the Fish Pie which was delicious and the views were fabulous too.

We stayed here for two nights with our brother and sister in law as they live in Lancashire and we live in Yorkshire. Our room was fine (smaller than theirs) nice and clean with nice clean bedding and towels. Good shower and toiletries provided too....More
