Stayed in the studio which was nice and quiet. Loved everything about the stay but the highlight was the bioluminescence display. We also experienced the Chef's table dining experience which was delicious. Hospitality at its finest.

Mahana was the perfect place for a short break away. Such a tranquil and devine spot. We don't how to describe our amazing experience, there wasn't anything that wasn't enjoyable.....paddling the kayaks around the sheltered bay, lounging on the bean bags and in the hammocks, paddling in the clear water, sitting on the verandah of the homestead enjoying a delicious platter with a nice cool wine. Dave's Chefs Table dining experience was something certainly not to miss......outstanding food. Very welcoming staff. A fantastic night away and totally recommend Mahana Lodge.

Both a stunning location and stunning meal. We walked the Queen Charlotte track and were so glad we had booked at Mahana Lodge. We had a peaceful and relaxing afternoon on the private beach, followed by the Chef’s table where we met some lovely couples and experienced a fantastic meal. Couldn’t fault it!

Well what can I say. From the time the ferry pulled up to the jetty you instantly feel the homely sincere welcome from David. Real personal service without being over the top. Lovely clean relaxed environment, just felt like home. Rooms were spacious with huge ensuite. All the necessary breakfast needs ie cereals, yoghurts, bread and selections of beverages. No cooking of meals which was fine as David was our personal chef for that evening. Wow what a beautiful evening we had. Food to die for. After we lit the fire then visited the Glow worm grotto up a short path behind the house, then settled in for a well deserved sleep. Beds were so comfortable and cosy. Next morning packed lunches were ready and we were off again on foot. memories of Mahana will stay for ever. Thank you David for being a Host with the Mostest :)

Mahana lodge was absolutely perfect for a stop after a day of walking from ships cove. Chef's table was an amazing experience and one that won't ever be forgotten! The fresh produce and David's talent made for a perfect feast!
