I usually stay next door at Woodleys Farm house. Unfortunately they were full. I therefore booked The Old Stables. The host was very pleasant, but the rooms are very dated and so are all the main areas including the dining room. The guest house is in need of renovation and updating. The bed was also very uncomfortable and I didn't...

Stopped here as part of a trip to Bletchley Park. Recommended highly. Lovely clean rooms and top breakfast plus really close to Bletchley. Free parking and free wi-fi. There is a small village close for evening meals. Recommend the Swan which was lovely and decent food.

The Old Stables is not the easiest of places to find unless you have sat-nav. It is sign-posted from the main road but you have to keep your eyes peeled for the sign, and the turning is possible to miss. The Old Stables are located just little distance down a rocky drive. Once you get there, the place has lots...

Breakfast normally starts at 7am, but I had to leave earlier... After explaining this they already had an Amazing breakfast ready at 6:30am for me, which was very helpful! very accommodating, very helpful...

The Old Stables was for us, a shot-in-the-dark. We had no idea what to expect. We arrived a little late to a wonderful welcome. Our room was clean, with lovely bed linens and views over the pasturelands. The bathroom was newly upgraded with nice towels and good water pressure for showering. We thought we would miss breakfast the next morning...

I arrived mid evening and was greeted nicely and shown to my room. The room was a fair size for a single with a double bed. En suite shower room was almost as big as the room! Rather than a wardrobe there was a hanging rack for clothes in the en suite, this was handy as the packing wrinkles just...

Lots of positive things to say about this place - good value, great breakfast, lovely host, fab location. Rooms aren't anything special but are adequate and reasonably clean but not "bottomed" (blind in my bathroom was very dusty!), lots of tea and coffee & water and even biscuits! As is the nature of the building you can hear everything that...
