The best thing about this hotel is the Manager - he needs to be in charge of a hotel of a much higher standard than this one. We had two rooms, on the ground floor as requested. After our trek upstairs to breakfast I think they may have been the best rooms in the place. They were basic, comfortable with...

We stayed for two night cause were visiting Udawalawe national park, which is about 30mis away so the hotel is a very good basepoint. Hotel is a walking distance from bus station and town central. Arrived and got complimentary drinks, super nice welcome and info of jeep/driver arrangements for the safari. The safari is a couple of dollars more expensive...

Convenient and low cost alternative to hotels closer to Udawalawe. The hotel can arrange safari tours there as well as to the Sinharaja rainforest park. Rooms are very clean and with a hint of boutique design. Nice garden to relax in in with a small pol if you need to cool off. The real star of the hotel however is...

The hotel was nice, good Internet, shower not very good. But, the service we got from Till was exceptional. He helped us to arrange a safari tour and recommended a very good restaurant close to the hotel. Five stars for the service!

What can I say!? This was our best stay in Sri Lanka so far. We had the warmest of welcomes from the manager Tilly, who continued to be nothing but kind and helpful. The room was brilliant, everything you could want, even with extras like free water and tea/coffee. The swimming pool and outdoor area is lovely and so enjoyable...

We really enjoyed our stay at Pavana Resort. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The only downturn : as we are relatively tall, the beds were a bit small for us. But we nevertheless slept well. The swimming pool in the beautiful garden is nice to relax. Tilly was really welcoming and provided us with lots of useful information,...

He'll arrange you a tour, he cooked for us and he really cared about us and our stay. We never had such an amazing...

We stayed here for 1 night before we went to Udawalawe national park for safari the following day. The room is basic, clean, has a hot shower and air con all for a budget decent price! We were backpacking around Sri Lanka and came to Pavana resort near to the end of our trip. The manager Tilly went absolutely out...

We had a great stay at pavanna resort in order to visit Uda walawe and sinharaja rainforest. The room was a very good size with aircon and hot water. The garden area and pool were perfect for relaxing after a tiring day. The host Tilly was incredibly kind and helpful, he arranged our trips and sorted us out with packed...

Helpful very friendly manager. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Bathroom a good size with walk-in shower but did smell quite strongly of drains. Unsure about the brushed concrete walls in the bathroom, they just look unfinished like they need to be painted. Brick-like flooring in the shower was ok and the power shower worked fine until we had a...
