I returned for a third visit and once again really enjoyed Linda's hospitality - comfortable and well-fed with a largely "home-grown" breakfast that set us up for a day's walking. (A source of some interesting gardening ideas.)

Excellent hospitality from the owner, with a really scumptious breakfast. The location was perfect as we were visiting a Radnorshire Wildlife Trust not far from the river. Would recommend to friends and family who wish to visit the area.

No having booked in advance, I had little hope of finding a place to stay near Hay on Wye during the Hay Festival/How the Light Gets In. However, with the help of the friendly ladies at the Tourist Information, I lucked out and spent two nights at the Old Vicarage in Erwood. It was only a short drive from Hay,...

We stayed for a week in Linda's self-catering cottage in Gwenddwr. The cottage itself has been beautifully renovated -- that is, lots of original and appropriate features with a few added modcons such as the electric shower, though I preferred the six-foot long bath. The Rayburn gives a lovely background heat throughout the cottage, just right for April -- though...

Enjoyed a lovely stay in The Old Vicarage, in an en-suite double room even though only charged for a single room! The house and bedroom was beautifully decorated. Linda was very welcoming and accomodating, with a delicious range of choices for breakfast. A lovely visit.

Just returned from probably my 4th or 5th stay with Linda in Old Vicarage. It's a lovely place, very friendly and well organised. The cooked breakfasts all come from the farm (sausages, eggs, bacon and all). The stewed rhubarb was delicious. Always a great stay, and perfect for those fishing nearby. PS the Griffin Inn in Llanswyn (sp?) has good...

Another return visit to Linda's beautiful home which has been recommended to Country Living magazine. I am not at all surprised. Visitors are made most welcome and are surrounded by vintage linens and woollen textiles, bone china crockery and pressed and coloured glass. Very comfortable and a feast for the eyes. Delicious breakfast and on top of everything else, a...

Our fourth visit to the area, my sister Jane and I were privileged to stay at Linda's Shabby Chic cottage at Gwenddwr for our annual visit to wonderwools. What a fabulous cosy place to stay. My only regret is that we could not stay for longer! One bedroomed cottage but felt bigger with everything you need for a stay. Even...

Delightful, stone, one bed cottage in Gwenddwr, owned by Linda Williams of the The Old Vicarage. Renovated in keeping with Linda's unique French, country, shabby chic style. Traditional stone slab floors, beautiful oak hand crafted kitchenette, roll top cast iron bath (with separate electric shower) and fabulous French style double bed. All decorated with Linda's personal and highly original touches...

I've much enjoyed my stays here - this time with friends. This is a very hospitable B&B, comfortable and interesting. We set out on the next stage of the Wye Valley Walk very well fed on home-produced food. ,
