Watching dolphins swim by, lying in bed in the morning, hearing the sound of the waves and smelling the fresh sea air is nothing short of being in paradise! Sunset is not to be missed, best sunset over the sea I have whitnissed for a very long time. The rooms are light, roomy and very comfortable beds. Nothing short of... More

I would highly recommend DVGH to any travellor wanting a quiet get away with the most stunning views across the ocean. Dolphins view is a very apt name. I saw many dolphins frolicing in the clear surf and even a couple of whales. The sunsets were breath taking. The rooms are very clean and well serviced by some very friendly... More

On my recent visit to South Africa I spent 5 days at the wonderful Dolphins View. The guesthouse overlooks the sea and we were able to watch the dolphins swimming past each day.We were also lucky to see a family of whales. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean with kitchen facilities if needed. Elaine the owner was very friendly... More

If you want to relax with a great view, Dolphins view is the perfect place to be. Close enough to the city, but far enough away from the city hussle. No matter what time of te year you go to dolphins view, you always feel like you're on your christmas vacation. It doesn't matter what the weather is like, you... More

this is a little ways from PE, but worth it! Most rooms look out on the crashing waves of the ocean--felt like Big Sur in the southern hemisphere! Elaine, the voluble and party-loving Scottish innkeeper, will take excellent care of you.

I had booked this accommodation to enjoy a quiet relaxed break at the end of our two week holiday in South Africa. Correspondence with the proprietor had been very good and this, alongside the glowing reports on Trip Advisor and claims of superior quality and gorgeous pictures of sand dunes from Dolphins View's own website had me looking forward to... We booked this place for a 2 night stay based upon the website and glowing Tripadvisor reports. Sadly, our journey was wasted and we walked right back out upon seeing the accommodation. The furniture is NOT good quality. The place is clean but this is diminished by it's shabbiness which makes it appear unclean. The building is unattractive and is... More

My wife & I staid a total of three months in this wonderful place when I started my new job in PE. And while the job was stressful at the time it always felt like a holiday coming back every day. Located in first row to the sea, a huge beach only 5 minutes away, a family-like service by Elaine... More
