We stayed here as family home near by. Just need a place to put your head down, but still. Very bad housekeeping and maintenance. 2 room change but not much difference. Stain linen and towels. Moulded room with wall paper falling off and shower room. Bad room odour. Not a reasonable answer for close quite sometime for MCO. Guest rooms should be clean and dusted before you open back for business. Very disappointed and not even worth for the money with that conditions. Never to stay here again.
Our first time to Bukit Indah in Skudai and we decided to stay one night here. The price for one night (@RM$140), inclusive of breakfast, is really very reasonable, I must say. The breakfast spread was simple but the food was delicious. There was fried rice, scrambled eggs, baked beans, sausages, sweet sour chicken, toast, ‘pau’ or steamed buns, ‘kueh’ or Malay cakes, coffee, tea and mango juice. The dining room was a little small and it got crowded at the peak breakfast hours (8-10am). It’s next to the rooftop pool, which is small and more of a dipping pool than a lap pool. The room was simple but a little worn with wall paper peeling, toilet leaking, cracked WC and sink, as well as visibly rusted door hinges. The floor under the beds was dusty. The air-con was a bit loud and old. The bed, however, was of the right softness for me. As the hotel is located at a quiet area ( we could see many residential houses from our rooms), we had a good night’s sleep. All in all, if you want just a simple cosy place to rest a night at good pricing, this is it. …
Basic Hotel, limited TV channels, poor wifi at 7th floor, lobby has a few wifi selection but told is accessible for hotel staffs only not for customers. Location a bit far from AEON Mall, the nearest supermarket is Tesco. Breakfast with limited choice. Cleanliness can be improved, wallpaper a bit run down. Overall ok.
Walked into this hotel with my friend who's a local there. Friendly front desk staff especially the Indian chap who could converse in good Mandarin! But oddly he and another female colleague didn't have their name badges on their "uniform" so I couldn't address them properly here. Check in was pretty smooth and fast. However do be warned that there's a security deposit of RM100 to be produced upfront before they issue you the keycards. Then we entered the lobby lift and suddenly it failed to work. Entered the other lift and realised that both were out of service. What a kind reception!! Was told by the front desk to use the lift at the back of the function room to gain access to my room. Haha... My room was bang average at best, but I guess it's the best looking in that area so didn't wanna kick up a huge fuss. Bed was sturdy with fluffy pillows which gained some consolation to my stay. Something that annoyed me was the hopeless toilet flush which required 3 flushes to clear up my business. Water output from the tap was pathetic, and the overhead rain shower head was rusty! I had no choice but to use it for my shower since there's no alternative way to bathe myself. There was a massage spa on level 1 which I decided to give a miss after noticing a crossed-looking man manning the counter who looked like chewing up the next customer. Didn't try the brekky the next morning as I overslept after a long night out. The front desk staff was rather inflexible this time when I asked for a late checkout at 1 or 2pm. He said I was only granted up to 1230pm and would be charged RM50 if I exceeded the time. Pretty inflexible management considering I'm a walk in guest and not booked my stay through some external online travel agent. Where's the goodwill? The positive from this stay was I had a good sleep at night but the service lapses didn't ensure a memorable stay for me at least. In future would look elsewhere for better service and quality. …
I chose this hotel for its price. A very basic but spacious enough room with just a few TV channels, good wifi signal and nearby supermarkets. It is somewhat clean but wear & tear is clearly seen in the rooms. We had issues with the bathroom as the flush wasn't working well & not powerful. I called the reception & Maintainance managed to fix it before we checked out. Breakfast was also limited but for the price, I can't complain. Aeon Bukit Indah mall is the nearest mall to this hotel & Rm5 via grab. The supermarket building beside the hotel has stores, cafes & massage outlets as well. Personally, I wouldn't stay at this hotel for more than a night. Just my personal preference.
