Stayed for a night at the deluxe queen bed room [upper floor]. The view from the balcony is fantastic and so relaxing. The room maybe small for a large person but fits a medium-built Asian man well. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is fitted with shower, sink, mirror and a toilet bowl. The shower area is not covered hence the toilet bowl may get wet when you shower. The bathroom can be improved with more hooks to hang your stuffs. Checking in was a breeze and the staff was attentive and courteous. He sheltered me with an umbrella when he saw me leaving the car when it was pouring. The room is not sound proofed and you can hear your neighbours talking. Fortunately, the sound of the birds flocking on the paddy field drowned the “unwanted noise”. The pillows are too soft for me. I tried the D’Bendang Restaurant located within the property and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly. Tried the sea bass , lobster and fried calamari - there were super tasty. Do explore the rooftop of the property to get a nice panoramic view.

If we are looking at this from the perspective of a finding comfortable accommodations, then this might not be the best option around. However, that said, this place does offer some other things to compensate for the slight discomfort and inconvenience - one of which is the novelty.
First, the considerations that make this less comfortable and convenient than conventional accommodations options: - We booked a room meant to accommodate 4 persons, and it was rather crammed even with 2 adults and 2 children. We barely had space to walk around with our luggage in the room. - Noise insulation was also pretty bad. We could hear everything going on in the public areas, and the noises lasted pretty late into the night. - Some of the standard amenities in traditional accommodations were not available in the room. These included things like hooks in the bathroom (nowhere to hang clothes and towels), no clothes hangers in the room or bathroom, no shower curtains (clothes get wet if we left them on the toilet seat cover while showering), no kettle (we don't like bottled water because they are not environmentally friendly and not healthy), and no storage. - We were also unfortunate to be allocated a room which came with a balcony looking into a blank wall. - They claimed to serve breakfast until 10:30am. However, by 9:15am, they stopped refilling the food and there wasn't very much left.
That said, there were some other aspects of the stay that were positive: 1. The novelty - there are some parts of the experience that are just different from traditional accommodations, and the kids found these to be fun. 2. Facilities in the common areas within the place were pretty good, and there is enough to entertain the family. 3. Nice views and nice neighbourhood in the vicinity. 4. Staff members were mostly friendly. 5. Private carpark. 6. My family loved what was on offer at dinner.

This was my 2nd visit to Villa Chee. The 1st time was last September and we booked in to the same room - Deluxe Family Room. This time the experience was horrendous. I slept in the lower bunk on the right of the door. I was bitten by bugs all over my face, neck and chest. I didn't sleep the whole night. Furthermore the TV opposite the door could turn on anytime it wanted, just like in a horror movie. I think it must have been a sensor issue. We found the TV plug off when we came in and this must have been already a problem all along but nobody fixed it. The beds are rock hard and quite uncomfortable too. Hope this place improves but what a shame that the quality has gone down and they still charge a premium for the place on weekends.

Worst experience and we did not stay as they did not clean the room! Pls check on the photo for Their hygiene and cleanness! Is a scam hotel as what you see do not tally what they offer in their web page! Take your own risk if you want to stay at this hotel! Shame of Malaysia tourism, totally spoil the image of Malaysia to a foreigner!

I have booked a room for 2 nights. Today is the first night but I found many small beetles and cockroaches in the room. I need to cancel my reservation for the next day. But the Villa Chee manager didn't allow us to cancel our 2nd night of booking. It was a terrible stay and horror night. Totally different from the pictures. I feel like I've been cheated. Waste of money and time.

This was our first time in Sekenchan; we spent a night with our friend at this Villa. We were impressed with the exterior setup, concrete with eco-friendly containers, and unique design. Surrounded by the holistic paddy fields, it has been nourished and enriched by the seasonally beautiful view. The check-in was smooth with super friendly staff; the bedroom was clean, with ample space and a balcony facing the padi-field. We went to Restaurant Seafood d'Bendang for lunch, with many options at reasonable prices; they were all fresh and delicious. Besides spending time around Sekinchan, the Villa has its attractions around the padi-field, a top observation deck, a pool, and different bicycles for rent. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay and came back if possible. #sekenchan #paddyfields #ecofriendly #deliciousfood #relaxingstay #highlyrecommended 🌾🌞🌴
