I booked this hotel a day before my arrival. I chose it because it was the only hotel that mentioned having a crib available in the description. Also, it is close to the FLN airport. What a great find! The grounds are beautiful, there are monkeys in the trees, great playground, pool area, sauna, landscaping, flowers. This hotel has chalets and suites (apartments). We were in a superior apartment. The bedroom has a balcony overlooking the pool area and a great view of the mountains in the distance. The pack and play was set up with linens and towels in the bedroom. There are toiletries in the bathroom (contrary to a recent review). For a family with a baby, the fact that there is a separate bedroom is a must so that the baby can sleep peacefully. We were very comfortable and the included buffet breakfast was delicious, lots of variety, juices, yogurt, fruit, baked goods, desserts, eggs, meat, oatmeal. Note on beach access: This hotel is not close to the busy part of Campeche beach, which suited us perfectly. The staff directed us to the pathway to access the beach (a short 10-minute walk through fields and next to a cemetery). After crossing the dunes (and coming across a horse and her foal), we had the beach almost all to ourselves. Definitely my kind of beach, where we can enjoy the sand and waves without crowds of people. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and if I ever find myself in Campeche again, I will stay here.…
After a beach walk, we found ourselves in Campeche in need to go back to Florianopolis, and walked into the reception of this hotel, also interested in finding out their prizes for future reference. But our main concern was to get a taxi and we asked them if it were possible to order one for us. Not only did they do so, as an act of pure kindness not to customers, but to total strangers, but when the taxi failed to come, they phoned again and made sure we got our taxi, talking to company and driver... it was way more than we could have expected. If staff is so helpful and friendly to strangers, how will they be to their customers... we are sure we found a fantastic spot for a futuer holiday !
Big room but awful, not enough light entrance, humid, they do not offers shampoo (I was forced to buy a 300 ml on nearby area) which I find an absurd for a hotel with the price they have. The room is plenty of insects and bugs because they let the window of the bathroom after cleaning and be prepared to mosquito's bite. Coffee break is included but don't wait for big thing, the pictures misleads you. Never again! If you want comfort I recommend Hotel da Faceira!
Catarina Brazil few miles from the Capital Florianópolis and near the beach of Campeche you’ll find nature and a quite spot not yet explored by tourists. São Sebastião da Praia Hotel is like a mini Resort with two swimming pools a nice restaurant and several average beach hotel rooms plus nice bungalows. Lovely gardens and tropical trees plus plenty of parking places make this hotel a nice surprise for the arriving guests that land at FLN international airport or those who come driving to the Magical Island. Good for a family stay anytime of the year.
Aufull hotel. Bad room and tiny bathroom, very unconfortable, no lights, no amenities in bathroom, cocroaches, unfriendly service, expensive for what it offers, Not recomended to anyone that is used to a normal hotel.
Deluxe double rooms are very spacious for a price that is very reasonable, within a huge, lovely tropical garden full of trees, birds and monkeys. They do lack charm, but they’re very spacious, clean and well situated, above all quiet. They allow for a nice intimacy and cute balconies. Service is good, not very English speaking but not a big problem. Two nice pools, a game area, decent and honestly priced restaurant. Tons of amenities for kids. It basically has anything you need for a super stay. Literally 5 Minutes from the beach by foot, 15 to the village - there are buses too. Ubers all around. One i would recommend, a very easy going and healing place
Unexpectedly big apartment. Very beautiful gardens with fruits and small animals. Very familiar. We had a nice stay with a group of friends. The only downside was a bit of bad mood from two employees, but nothing that tarnished our weekend.
Simple and cozy atmosphere. Adequate and organized facilities. Loved our stay, we left rivigorados there. We love the fresh air at dawn, the presence of nature and the breakfast simple, pleasant and pleasurable, so that you want to stay at Hotel São Sebastião da Praia, we recommend!!!
Hotel is across the road from a fantastic beach. The hotel had a pool and a nice breakfast. The room was very basic, but was fine for our week. There was a very popular restaurant next to the hotel, but we didn't get a chance to try it.
We booked two rooms at the hotel and despite the advance booking, they put us in different blocks, not side by side as expected. One room was on the first floor and with a new air conditioning. The second one, on the ground floor, has a very old, noisy and inefficient equipment. They did not clean the rooms or made the beds often. In three nights, they never appear to change towels. We found the rooms - that look more like an apartment, with an empty kitchen and not a single bottle of water at the minibar - with an open window and we slept among all sort of mosquitos. Due to a familiar agenda, we did not use the pool nor other facilities. The breakfast was good and the staff is friendly. My mother forgot a mobile phone charger there and they stored it for us until we had the chance to return.…
