I contacted Mr. Pappu Singh via email beforehand to inform him about our potential dates in Jaisalmer and gave him a rough sketch of the places we wanted to visit. He was very easy to talk to and work with, amazingly knowledgeable about the place and gave us a solid itinerary in return and offered us his cab service throughout...

We made a four day camel ride and stayed also for some nights at Registhan Guest House. Coming from Jaisalmer, we were welcomed with a nice Chat. The people around were very friendly. Sadly I got sick, but it was a very good place to get sick, because they would really look after me. The camel ride was great. We...

We spent a night here and stayed in the Swiss tents. The place is run down and in need of TLC. The tent had torn screen panels and was in poor repair. The generator only ran to provide power for a few hours at night and briefly in the morning. The bathroom had no toilet paper or soap. The bedding...

My stay at Registhan Guest House was limited to two nights, but I returned with memories for a lifetime. The camps at this guest house are fantastically managed by Mr....

This place is amazing. We were picked up from our hotel and driven about 60km in an open top jeep, out into Thar desert. We rode the camels out over the dunes with some cheeky little chaps guiding us. We were able to stop for as many photos as we wanted, the camels stopped for a rest as well. We...

My son and I booked a Swiss tent "package" which includes dinner, breakfast, tent, camel safari and entertainment. The tent had no toilet paper, soap or blankets or towels. We had to ask for it.The towels were so old and dirty that after 2 tries we gave up and used our own. We also had to request extra blankets (...
