The staff at the hotel are friendly. I liked the artworks scattered throughout the hotel. Breakfasts is on the light side. The rooms were comfortable there was a little maintenance required. The bar and music were great as was the food at the bar restaurant
We booked the family standard room at Ground floor. Deposit in cash required rm100. Toilet bidet has a bit of leak but other than that all good. It has a separate toilet, shower n vanity area. We especially love the smart tv in the room as our child can comfortably watch some youtube after long day. Kettle, small fridge, towels, iron and hair dryer all provided for use. We were lucky our room was on ground floor, as the stairs to higher floor seemed a bit dark for small child/elderly. Theres a coin laundry just next to the hotel where we did our laundry. We paid rm10 extra to lady at laundry where she will help to fold the clothes as well. Great add on service. While waiting for laundry, husband went to hear the band at the hotel and he said it was really good. Family room has 2 queen beds and 4 towels. Parking area a bit dark so was a bit worried abt our rented car but it was all good, nothing happened. We wanted to try their restaurant but it was not open while we were there, so we ordered Grab food and it was delivered to the hotel. Many food vendors can deliver to the hotel area via Grab/Foodpanda app. Delivery fee free to about rm3.. very reasonable. We also went for spa at the nearby Alun Alun Spa. Recommended for couples, friends or families with older children perhaps.…
1. Room with en-suite toilet has exposed live wire that trips power in the toilet. Complained but no rectification taken 2. After room cleaning all power will be cut while you’re out. Items (I.e chocolates) left in room will be spoilt upon return
I love this place! I was initially only staying for 2days ended up extending it to 8. The hotel is beautifully designed and has a calming atmosphere. I didn't see many people around the hotel, apart from the restaurant downstairs during the evening where they have a band playing daily. This was perfect for me as I was looking for some quiet after previously staying on the main strip of Cenang walk. The location is good, it's near the beach and is surrounded by some nice restaurants and bars. However, what made the stay so wonderful for me, above anything else was the staff. All of whom are extremely helpful and diligent. Nothing is too much trouble, and every day I was greeted with a smile. Thank you for a pleasant stay. I will be sure to return.
This hotel is in Pentai Tengah where there is a nice, quiet patch of beach nearby but you can also easily walk around 20 minutes to Pentai Cenang if you want an areas with more of a buzz, which is what we did. So, the location was no issue for us and still had everything very close that you would need like restaurants and shops if you prefer to not go further. We had positive and negative experiences of the hotel itself. It's been finished to a high standard - the pool area is fab and our room had a very comfortable bed and a high-spec bathroom including a huge jacuzzi bath. However, there are some strange design choices such as the rooms not having mirrors (only the bathroom), the pool area being in an area which goes in the shade relatively early in the day and the whole hotel being very dark in general. The atmosphere was also a bit odd - it was really hard to find any staff (we had to search for them to order our breakfast which, when it arrived, wasn't what we had ordered) and the hotel and adjacent restaurant and bar also seemed empty which gave the whole place a bit of an eery feel! It's not a bad hotel but there are definitely things that could be easily improved.…
We stayed here for five nights during our recent trip to Malaysia. The room was large, with a massive bathroom including a jacuzzi bath and a private terrace. Staff were great, the breakfast was standard continental affair with a choice from a more extensive menu for hot food. We used the lovely little bar every night and ate in the restaurant a couple of times as well - the food is very good. Caveat: Don't get the room above the bar! There was live music every night we were there and, despite being assured it would finish by 10.30, usually went on until 11pm, with the band playing to an empty bar!
Where to start with Lot 33.. wow! We stayed here for 7 nights and had an awesome time. Upon entering the room, we were stunned with the space and the way everything looked. Staff were very sweet and even helped us print the ferry tickets we needed, and when they saw we had finished our complementary coffee they provided us with double the amount of coffee daily. Perfect service: it’s all in the details! Location is also very nice, it is doable to walk to Pentai Cenang (although you will be hot ;-)) and you’re situated close to some nice bars (please visit Haroo!) Lot 33 is a very good place to stay in Langkawi! The only recommendation we could come up with, would be to add a small safe to the room. Thanks for the lovely stay!
I check into the hotel for a 1 night stay where I paid quite a hefty amount with with a high expectation. The staff was not friendly and the service was poor. The room was noisy as there was a live band downstairs. At breakfast no one was there to take the order.I had to look for the staff to get my breakfast order. When the menu arrived no one explained the menu and when the food arrive I got a sarcastic reply from the waiter to make sure I finish the food. The room was a disappointment which does not deserve a 4 star rating. The only thing I enjoy was the drinks at the restaurant.
A hugh deluxe room attached with living room, and bathroom with jacuzzi at Pantai Tengah. Restaurant within the hotel as well as within walking distance. And a 24-hr mart is just opposite the hotel. We were welcome by a nice hotel staff, Mr. Eng. He is polite and helpful with the checking in. The interior design of the hotel is great. Breakfast is made upon order, fresh and warm food with fresh fruits. Will stay here again.
This hotel has a lot going for it. Pros: A large, attractive, comfortable bedroom with an amazing en-suite/jacuzzi bath. Friendly and helpful staff. A decent breakfast. A beautiful pool with plenty of seating. A good location with the beach nearby, and plenty of restaurants (Bobby's Bar is great for lunch!) Great air conditioning. Cons: The breakfast room lacks character and is very dark. I suggest adding some more light, and play some gentle background music. Live music from the adjoining restaurant played very loudly 3 out of 5 nights until 10:45pm when I had to ask them to turn it down. Obviously fine for those who go to bed later, but very irritating for those who like an earlier night. However, the staff at the hotel did action my complaint quickly and effectively. If you prefer an earlier night, I suggest you ask for a room at the back of the hotel, and furthest from the stairwell.…
