Although we have been back to Langkawi a number of times since our last stay at La Pari, sadly we have not been able to stay at the hotel for one reason or another. However, this week we got back and this place never fails to deliver! The rooms are great - clean and well equipped. The space is wonderfully quiet and the pool served a purpose for us as a family of four travelling with another family of four. The 'deal clincher' are the staff and the restaurant. Wonderful attention and care from a team of dedicated staff who are always on the lookout to help. The food at the restaurant is second to none in Langkawi. Large portions of amazing Nonya style food but a menu to suit everyone at reasonable prices. Why would anyone eat anywhere else? If you want the busyness of beach activities and night parties this is probably not the place for you (although you should definitely get there for a meal!). However, if you want to truly relax and choose what you want to dip into in Langkawi then this place is ideal. We will definitely be back!…
La Pari Pari is charming, a perfect safe haven for families away from the bustle and maddening crowds. My son asked me what La Pari Pari meant, so I translated it as The Vale of the Fairies. Indeed to me, it has that kind of fantasy imbued in the grounds. I love walking the grounds in the early morning just as the sun rises. The magic of La Pari Pari is its people. Sometimes in your travels, you chance upon people who feel like you've known them a lifetime. For me, each trip to La Pari Pari feels like coming home to a welcoming bunch of family members. Bellyful laughters, and sharing of life stories. La Pari Pari serves up a perfect stay, uplifts the weary soul and warms the heart.
Gateway from KL.. taking a break from work and MCO.. langkawi is a perfect place for holiday and alcohol.. this place is so awesome and met the owners.. very friendly and good people.. very accommodating and We has a great time .. cheers... love this place and it’s a great get away..❤️❤️❤️
Our stay at La Pari Pari was really nice. It has both a modern and island feel and we really appreciated the fact that it only features a few rooms so it has this "family" feel and it's not crowded. We stayed in a King size bedroom and it had all the things you'd need for your stay: a mini fridge, water refill, very nice bathroom with toiletries and all the things necessary for the beach, large bedroom with good a comfortable bed and even a little patio in front of the room where you can chill and also leave your towels to dry at the end of the day. The little resort is very charming, literally in the middle of nature, it has a swimming pool (that we didn't have the chance to try since we spent all our day at the beach or out and about but it looked great), deck chairs to enjoy the sun and a restaurant where we had breakfast every morning and dinner every night. The staff was extremely helpful and kind and the amenities sparkling clean and decorated with taste. We recommend strongly this place if you are looking for a quiet boutique stay in Langkawi.…
Hotel is located in Pantai Tengah, close to the beach, but away from main tourist center. Rooms are spacious, bright, and very comfy. Super clean, breakfast is great, even the "simple" continental (lots of fruit, excellent fresh bread and exceptional pandan jam). The hotel staff is super friendly, they were chatting with us and also giving a lot of helpful advice. Restaurant is excellent, we loved the food and ambiance. Last but not least, we loved the pool, especially our 5-year-old did :)
We stayed here at the behest of our friends that have been here before. We've this place and would reccomend it to anyone! Pro's: Excellent customer service, amazing restaurant, large rooms, spacious bathroom, really good shower, good bed/pillows, decent pool, and you can walk to a few other bars/restaurants if you wanted too. Cons: No umbrellas by the pool so there is no shade during the day, the grounds are not very fancy but that is of little concern, and the curtains don't block all the light in case you need pitch black to sleep. We could have stayed here for another week easy!!
My wife & I stayed at La Pari Pari recently & the place is pretty good, we frequent Asia every 6 mths & have stayed at multiple places over the years, La Pari Pari's main asset is definitely their staff, they are all good, Adam on the front desk is excellent he & the other girl & guy (sorry forgotten their names) helped us with car hire & other touristy things. The great thing about this is that they do not charge anything extra if you were to book it on the street (this is rare in Asia as hotels seem to always have higher prices). The breakfasts & food are nice but they should really invest in a couple of Nespresso machines re their coffee as it was pretty bad (even the best coffee option was not that great), however that is no biggie. The rooms are a tad tired & could do with an upgrade but overall quite good, the courtyard off your room also needs some work, the hard rocks on the ground & the seating are not really comfortable & this could be fixed quite easily & cheaply. The biggest issue they have is their pool, whilst it is clean & nice it is quite small which surprises me as the grounds are quite big (pool could be 3 x the size), so there are bugger all sun beds & absolutely no shading by the pool, this effectively kept us a way from it as it just gets too hot (I think this maybe done on purpose to minimise workload). I know it sounds like I'm knocking it but I'm not as overall the place is still great & the staff are awesome.…
We have just left here after a 7 night stay here with our friends, and all 4 of us loved everything about the place! One of their biggest assets is their very professional, welcoming and friendly staff who are happy to help you with anything. One of them suggested that hiring a car was a good way to see the island which we actually did for 2 days in the end because he was right. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get any names apart from Belle who was very knowledgeable in the restaurant and helped me choose gluten free options, which as a Coeliac can often be difficult in Asia. However we enjoyed chatting to all the staff and having a laugh with them, including my daily early morning one with the guy putting out the furniture cushions and doing the gardening! The standard of everything in the rooms is high, we had everything we needed and the food in the Fat cupid was some of the best we had eaten in our 2 weeks in Malaysia. Congratulations to the owners of La Pari Pari, both of whom we enjoyed meeting, for creating this truly relaxing, welcoming lovely place and thank to you and all your staff for a wonderful stay. I will recommend you to everyone looking for somewhere to stay in Langkawi and if we ever return this is the only place we would stay. Keep up the good work!…
Nice quiet setting approx 10min walk to Pentai Cenang area. Restaurant (Fat Cupid) is part of the hotel and has an excellent menu with a mix of local and western dishes. It opens at 9am and is closed on Monday. Room was clean but slightly rough around the edges. TV didn’t work and hot water ran out quite quickly. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel but with only 12 bungalows you get a very personal touch from the staff who take care of any tours for you.
Small 12 villa accomodation with super friendly and helpful staff who can’t do enough for you. The rooms are clean and the food and cocktails is amazing. Not too far from Main Street and very close to the beach and beach clubs. Try the laksa
