Corrie Chalet is set back from the beach less than 100 metres with gardens and other chalet to the left and right and adjacent to the just a few metres away from different companies, the rooms was a good size with 2 large double beds, bathroom was OK clean tiles, good shower, small sink and toilet, no toilet paper, no shower gel or shampoo, no mirror in the bathroom, only small soap and 2 nice soft towels, bed and pillow was very hard, but I slept well, brand new Panasonic air-conditioning was excellent, also no need to switch off when you left the room, there was a small fridge that kept my very cheap beers cold (4 for less than £1) and ltr vodka or gin whisky between £4 to £6 only at the large duty free shops in the resort by the sea life aquarium, not at airport duty free 60 to 70 ringgits, compared to 20 to 30RM at pantai cenang Langkawi resort duty free, the room itself needs a fresh coat of pant its looking a bit shabby, there is a little balcony about 2 Square metres with 2 chairs, no complementary water or toiletries like a most hotels do nowadays on 2 little bars soap, there was a nice new kettle, small flat screen TV with digital box, only about 12 channels a d none of them was worth watching, I was there for 4 nights nobody came to clean the room ser at all, not happy, no room service for 5 days that's disgusting, …

I booked Corrie Chalet (Family room) cause I'm on a budget with my other 2 friends. Easy Check-in, access to the beach & what's more good is the sports activities for Cenang Beach mainly located beside at this chalet. Also, those who want to have a calm environment with a tight budget, you may book Corrie Chalet for GOOD! At night, the front & area surrounding of this chalet is quite dark with limited lights. Also, it has a bumpy & bad roads surface before you can enter the car park. Please be extra careful when you come late/ back to your room at night. Overall, I enjoyed my good time here in Langkawi with a very good budget accommodation !

It very hard to find that chalet at first visit coz they change this chalet name already. We need to ask local people to find this place and luckily the view at front the chalet is very amaze me.. It very close to beach. Only 2 minutes walk. But the shower is not functional well.

spent two nights there and it was awful. rooms are dirty and make sure you dont eat anything inside ur room on bed because ants will sniff it and attack you immediately. mosquitoes ruined my sleep. though it is cheap but i would rather pay extra to stay somewhere else.

If you're looking for a cheap place by the beach, this is it. Don't expect anything thing else from there. Rooms are dirty due to irregular housekeeping schedule. Receptionist is non-existent most of the time. Breakfast not provided. However, shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

I had to check out after a few hours, because it was raining in the bed, the room was very dirty and the sheets were not cleaned. I've traveled to many countries, have slept in 10$ room in south america and thailand many times, it was spartiate comfort but always clean. For the first time i had to leave before spending the night because it was too dirty. Never go there.
