Me and my friends had a last minute plan to Langkawi, one of of my friend suggested that we stay here for a night. However all of us underestimated the accommodations first, upon arriving we were greeted with an awesome hospitality by the Malay receptionist who can speak fluent English. We were then showed to our room and were astonished to see how comfortable and pleasant was the room and we had to extend for another night. We also had our food in the restaurant which serves awesome breakfast and dinner without us having to move around to find for food. Finally, the other guest that has been staying there together with the owner has been very friendly and accommodating on all our basic needs. Cheers to the staff in Cactus Inn and restaurant for making our stay a pleasant one and we will definitely return there once again and promote about it to those who wants to come to Langkawi to stay here.…
Clean room, nice toilet and shower. Good service friendly staff. Location near the beach. Nice place to relax and go there for vacation near the beach and the near by nature. About 15 minutes by car from AIRPORT.
It's my right choice to check-in Cactus Inn, value for money. Provided all basic amenities, even a wall fan and also a mini safe-box. The room is spacious, comfortable, clean and tidy. Many thanks to the friendly receptionist allowing me for early check-in and late check-out. The Cactus Restaurant next door provide great food with reasonable price. Highly recommended !
The services are good, Prices are very reasonable & affordable (bed & breakfast). and the reception is very welcoming. WIFI is fast. I will definitely come back to Gaborone and there is only one place I will stay and that's Cactus Inn.
Every time we come here it gets better and better the staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is of a high standard and very tasty , also the beers and ciders are very reasonably priced as is the red wines. We have been coming here for the last twelve years and will be back
Busy and welcoming restaurant. Basic surroundings, partially open air. Menu Malaysian and European. My husband had the beef rendang curry, I had the Singapore noodles. Both meals were very tasty and the quality was very good. Washed down with Tiger beer. Price was very reasonable and staff were friendly. We would recommend this restaurant for good food.
I recently stayed here for xmas ‘18, my time here was made most welcome by lip lieu and the great team!! The service, cleanliness, value for money and food was outstanding! I had the best time here as a solo traveller but made to feel part of the cactus family! I wish you all the very best and thanks so much for making me welcome! See you next year
My first stay at Cactus Inn, and it thoroughly lives up to expectations. Room was clean, cosy, spacious, and adequately equipped. Similarly, bathroom was clean and spacious, with a good pressured showed (always a plus!). I liked the thought that went behind furnishing the room, which made it feel like home. Worthy mentions - the vertical/multi-branch clothes hanger, hooks in the room and bathroom, sufficient space to put toiletries above the sink. My only criticism would be both the quality and lack of lights in the room/bathroom. Pretty dim. Also, I had some pretty loud neighbours. Receptionist staff was pleasant and allowed me an early check-in, and extended check-out. The staff in the nearby Cactus restaurant were equally friendly. Apparently, they've been established for 21yrs, which explained the night crowd they drew. Food was average though. I had 3 meals in total - fish n' chips needs improvement, especially for that price; breakfast menu has a wide variety - enjoyed the roti jala but I must say I was quite surprised at the measly 2 potatoes and 1 chicken curry that accompanied it. Take note that they close on Wed. I liked that the Inn is strategically located along the pantai tengah strip, with plenty of restaurants and shopping marts around, without the crowd of pantai cenang. Also, it's tucked away from the main road, which reduces traffic noise. A plus is that the beach isn't too far away. I would definitely return to Cactus Inn on my next visit to Langkawi.…
This was our third visit. Still loved the place, and the owners, Lip and Liew. It feels like a second home. The construction next door is finished, now looking like a first class hotel, so peace and quiet is once more restored, for those who might have been putting off a return visit.
The owner of the Cactus restaurant also own the Cactus Inn. My daughter and I stayed there and for money for value it is good value . Room was air conditioned , very clean , large modern bathroom . From the outside it is deceiving as the outside is very plain looking but the rooms are really good. One of the benefits is that you are about 40 to 50 metres from the restaurant.
