Fuuka Villa (Room 106): PROS: 1. Large, very comfortable king bed with plenty of comfortable pillows; 2. Free filtered water refill station at reception/office; 3. Modern, well-maintained community that presents well; 4. Visa credit cards accepted for room payment; 5. Nice outdoor porch with table and two comfortable chairs; 6. Nice, modern, and spacious room and bathroom with pleasant grey-toned theme/accents; 7. Good aircon system; 8. Good, quiet location easily walkable to Pantai Tengah (5 minutes) and Pantai Chenang (20 minutes); 9. Nice, helpful on-site manager who seems genuinely interested in making guests happy; 10. Nice blackout roller shade on primary window; 11. Nice long community pool with comfortable curvy lounge chairs; 12. Plenty of areas within the room to place/store items; 13. Available seating area inside the room with coffee table and two comfortable chairs; 14. Secured safe deposit boxes available within reception office; 15. On-site scooter rentals at office. CONS: 1. Unusable WiFi signal quality for laptops, and the phone WiFi connection works just for basic internet, streaming, and email but is still slow for file transfers. There is a strong 5 GHz WiFi signal in the office that only reaches room 101 but is unavailable at all other rooms (they only have an outdated 2.4 GHz WiFi network extender signal available for everyone else). Their entire WiFi system desperately needs to be updated. People should not stay here if they need to get any work done, unless they can secure access to room 101 which has just 2 twin beds. I ended up buying a mobile data eSim and use the hotspot from my phone to get the laptop internet to work. The manager claims he will be working to resolve the issue and upgrade the WiFi access-points network to a new 5 GHz system; 2. Multiple flies lying on bed upon check-in, but the manager was able to provide a fly swatter and bug spray to resolve the issue promptly; 3. No shade on the room’s rear window illuminates the room with sunlight each morning, forcing an early rise. If you like to sleep in, this will be a problem for you; 4. The room’s front windows facing the community walkway are not tinted for room privacy, so anyone from outside can see inside your room; 5. The pool deck is just grass and dirt. Management should upgrade the pool desk to tile or at least AstroTurf; 6. No secured/bolted safe deposit box within the room; 7. No universal/travel power points; 8. No desk/workstation in room; 9. No bar/rod to hang hand towel near bathroom sink; 10. No AMEX payments accepted; 11. Entry door needs doorsweep and weatherstripping to help keep bugs out and better retain aircon; 12. Small yellow strain on bed comforter; 13. No alcohol allowed in room.

Very nice hotel and reasonably priced. The rooms and bathroom were a good size, well equipped and kept very clean. They have a system where you put a sign outside your room when you want it cleaning, which means you do not get any unwanted interruptions. There are a number of restaurants nearby. The pool is a good siz

a lovely welcome from the owner who gave us relevant information for the area and pointed me in the right direction to buy a SIM card (no retailers at Kuah ferry terminal) on arrival you may feel that the property is a little isolated but just a few minutes away (turn left from the hotel) are an array of restaurants, the standout of which is Rockafella’s for both drinks and great Indian food. we hired two very new mopeds from the hotel for a very reasonable price and visited all of the main attractions. Pantai Tengah is a couple of minutes’ drive and Pantai Cenang about 6 or 7. great value for money, a charming team and would definitely recommend

A quiet and peaceful place in Langkawi, just 5 minutes walking distance to the beach. Pros: - very clean and well decorated room - very refreshing swimming pool - no children or big groups Cons: - owner is not giving a warm welcome - less privacy in the room, as everyone who passes by can look into the room (curtains will be better) - main entrance is always blocked by parking cars and motorcycles

Ok, where does one begin to tell you about a jewel of a place. Let’s start with the staff, initially with Mr Ilman, attentive to all your needs, the chalet girls, always a smile and leave your room spotless. Mr Dee (the owner) I can honestly say is a very thoughtful man and his attention to your stay seems to be paramount for your well being. While you here, pop into the shop, run by his lovely wife for some very inexpensive, quality souvenirs. The Fuuka Villa is slightly off the beaten track, which is ideal for peace and tranquillity but the main area is within a 10 minute walk away. I can only give this a 5 star review anything less would be an injustice.

Staying at Fuuka Villa is a joy! Your close enough to all the attractions, bars, restaurants, beach etc. but detached enough to enjoy the peace and tranquillity that is Fuuka Villa. The rooms are great (really comfortable and well equipped), the pool and garden area are lovely and the staff are fantastic, really friendly and super-helpful. I highly recommend this gem of Langkawi 😍

Nice place if you want to be away from Pentai Cenang but close enough to get there. Under 10.minutes walk to.Pentai Tengah beach. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. WiFi is good and there is great satellite TV with loads of options including movies. The pool is lovely. Downside is the location because it is a little walk away from the beach and all but a few restaurants and there is no food available on site. Rooms don't give much privacy as staff are constantly walking past your window so you have to keep the blinds closed all the time. Lots of rules, including no food or alcohol to be consumed in the room. Food I understand but alcohol?? That's a personal belief issue which I don't think should be enforced on guests. That said, we had a pleasant, relaxing stay for a few nights.

I came with my wife for honeymoon and the day before checkin to fuuka villa i came to the place to see it and I really got shocked of how the place is amazing, and at that time it was my wife birthday and they help me for making a great setup for the room and the amazing part is the supersize which they made our day they prepare a great gift for my wife and that was really amazing and cute. Room is super clean and comfortable also the room has everything you need . In the future when i planning to visit langkawi i will never look or search for any place to stay cuz i will directly come to fuuka villa . Location is near to hidden beach and lot of shops and restaurants. Much love and respect

This place is amazing! The location is so peaceful yet you can easily walk to all that Cenang has to offer. The rooms are spacious, there's a great shower and everything is super-clean. We stayed at Fuuka Villa for 4 nights in one of their poolside villas. D the owner was fab and very friendly and helpful. We stay in Langkawi very often. This is now our go to place - we loved it here.

Stayed for 5 nights with my family in a poolside villa. Absolutely loved it! Amazing room with all you need. Superbly well maintained, easily as good as any 4 star hotel we've stayed at. Loved the balcony, especially good for an early morning read with a cuppa while the family were still asleep. Lovely views over the pool and nearby fields and trees. The pool was great and we often had it to ourselves. Be careful though the side is extremely slippery. We did get bitten by a few small red ants though, which seem to live in the grass around the pool. Stick to the sun loungers and you won't notice a thing. They don't allow you to have drinks and food in the room, but you can have outside the room and pool area, so can't complain. Nice couple of restaurants are nearby, (Tammy's, Bobby's, fatcupid, red tomato, cactus - all great for breakie). There is a quiet beach close by about 10 min walk away. Recommend to have a car or bike as it takes about 20mins to get to Cenang town and beach, especially with young kids in tow. We hired a scooter for the 3 of us and loved it. We will definitely come back!
