Circa 1830, this gorgeous historic house is now a guest house with 10 rooms. The estate has a lovely golf course, wedding function centre and the old stables have been converted into a starting / ending point for people on the Overlander and Bay of Fires walks. The grounds were lovely to explore on the bikes they provided. We stayed...

We had booked a standard queen room and found it extremely small. We could hardly move and it seemed more like a single room. The property itself is very charming with a traditional yet elegant design. Service was friendly but basic, the surroundings however are fantastic and offer some stunning views. We had dinner but it was slightly disappointing. The...

we spent two nights at quamby estate after finishing the bay of fires walk. the homestead and gardens are beautiful - the accommodation was excellent, the décor in all the living rooms beautiful and the food was excellent. I was quite surprised how lovely this place is and makes me want to discover more of Tasmania. I will certainly return.

Quamby Estate is a lovely place to stay. I would give it 4.7 out of 5. Only three really minor qualms for Quamby, and some may say they are insignificant. The welcome was odd- we had to ask where to put the car and where the room was and how the house worked - dining, Eric. This information should be...

We attended a family wedding recently in this beautiful venue. The grounds were a perfect backdrop, and well maintained. The reception in the ante room was also picture perfect. The food was of a high standard, and the service excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, either for the bridal party and the guests. Highly recommended.

After 53 years of marriage , we were lucky enough to get the bridal suite - Ask for it .Staff are friendly and the food excellent . Highly recommended...

Check in was fast A very unique hotel with about 10 rooms only. All the 10 rooms are differently design and lay out. It is like stay in a Mansion. Dinner was lovely and portion serve was correct. Rooms clean and bright Toilet area a bit small for my room.

Quamby Estate has a fantastic location, views are amazing and it's hard to find the better place for a guest accommodation. There are a couple of shared areas where you may enjoy reading or cuppa and they are furnished in a retro style which makes you feel it's an old castle. Lots of books and games so you won't get...

We stayed at Quamby Estate to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was the perfect choice . After checking in we enjoyed a glass on Champagne in front of a log fire in one of the period lounge rooms. Our bedroom contained a four poster bed and two heaters, the cold was no problem. The bathroom had under floor heating...
