Back in its day, I'm sure this hotel/resort was considered to be 4 star. However it's now grown old and tired. Great location and the golf course looks nice. Other than paint and I'm guessing some new mattresses everything else appears to be original......and that means "old & dated". I'm guessing there hasn't been a significant capital improvement in decades....

The website is VERY misleading. We stayed in their only "2 bedroom condo". I was told it had updated amenities and furniture. For reference if you go, it was actually 2 units, a 1 bedroom suite with a double door that attached to a king spa room, 1043 & 1044. The smell when we entered was very pungent so we...

My boyfriend and I booked this resort for his birthday weekend. We stayed one night and definitely wish we would have stayed two. Due to a busy weekend for the resort we weren't able to so I would recommend calling about a month in advance to secure your desired room and length of stay especially during busy season. Also they...

Stayed here as our home was flooded. Check in took over 15 minutes in line and I was first in line. 2 agents working the front. Room keys didn't work upon trying to enter my room. Called front desk- spoke with Tessa. She asked if I wanted to come back to the lobby or wait. Of course, with luggage etc......

Loved our the visit to Gold Canyon Golf Resort. We stayed for four nights. Everything was great...the room, the cleanliness, the restaurant, the staff, the location, and the beautiful scenery. We golfed for two days and went sightseeing for two.

We were told at the time of our reservation that we could check-in at 12 Noon. Upon our arrival, we are now told that we will need to wait another two hours before a room would be available. Angry? You bet! We prepaid for our reservation and this is how their "guests" are welcomed. Like I referenced, already off to...

We apologize for the inconvenience that was caused due to the confusion regarding our check-in time. Our hotel check-in is not guaranteed until four p.m. due to our commitment to providing exceptional housekeeping service in each casita for every guest. We will place early check-in requests for guests but keep in mind that on busy weekends this can not always...

Superior Arizona has limited so-so dining choices, so head back on Route 60 toward Phoenix and get off at Gold Canyon Road and stop by the bar and grill / dining room that this beautiful golf resort offers. For lunch, we had the blackened mani mani tacos. Service was outstanding! Great views of the golf courses and an outside dining...

Needed to lift my spirits and lift my spirits it did... The room was huge with its own outdoor enclosed hot tub... many beautiful works of art throughout the resort... felt at home and embraced by warmth in the room during a very difficult, emotional trip... I would go back in a minute. Seeing desert creatures (insects roaming) among the...

Went to the Dinner/Show for Jukebox Giants last Wednesday. It was a wonderful performance of impersonators for Elvis, and Neil Diamond. They were very entertaining, and sounded identical to the original singers. The buffet was outstanding. Prime Rib, Salmon, Chicken Marsala, Vegetables, 2 Salad choices, mashed potatoes, rolls, butter, and the best dessert of Bread Pudding. Very moist and simply...

We stayed a week at the Resort using time share points. We had a one bedroom condo and both rooms were huge and very clean. There were 1 king bed, 2 full baths, 2 patios, and 2 fireplaces! The "kitchen" was small with 2 burners, a sink, large refrigerator but very little space to fix a dinner. Nice staff. We...
