We just wanted to say how amazing our stay was at The Park Royal last night. Peter on reception was so welcoming and very helpful. Our bedroom was spotless and so big. We were so happy with it. Going down to try different foods for our wedding was so exciting. Our waiter Max was amazing. He was so knowledgeable, friendly & so helpful. He explained everything that was going to happen for the evening. The restaurant was beautiful too and had a lovely atmosphere about it. All our food was just incredible and it was so hard to choose between them all. The head chef came out to speak to us and was so accommodating and helpful. The wine selection too were so nice. We went for a drink in the bar, and again, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. We felt so special. Breakfast in the morning was just enough ! The buffet was exactly what we were expecting and the food was lovely and hot. We just wanted to say what a lovely hotel & wonderful staff & food The Park Royal really is. Visited a few times now, lovely hotel and great food. Have to give a big shout out to the lovely lady Donnamarie in the lounge bar. On every occasion I have visited this hotel, she has been consistently friendly, chatty, helpful and always with a smile. I look forward to visiting again.

Had an overnight spa break with my best friend. Room was standard twin but very spacious and perfect for our needs.. Great deal and value for money. Treatment by Phoebe was relaxing and perfect. Served in restaurant by Oliver, friendly and attentive. Food delicious, but could have been a little hotter for my taste. My second stay at The Park Royal Hotel and will definitely be booking another spa break with my sisters.

Went for an afternoon tea and spa treatment Annmarie was my holistic therapist and did an amazing back massage and facial felt really relaxed … would definitely recommend it … my niece got this through wowcher so it was amazing value for money the hotel’s facilities are so nice

PARKING FINE! £60 and then £100 if not paid within 28 days. Missed the new sign that says you need to leave your car registration at reception. No signs inside the hotel either or helpful reminders by the staff as they take your money. Been having business meetings in this hotel for decades. Our overseas families stay every Christmas. Held parties here! When I complained the receptionist said she’d been inundated by similar complaints and suggested that I appeal through the private parking company- Park & Control. No effort whatsoever to sort out the problem. Emailed the General Manager- Steven Lawson- no reply! It’s a disgrace that this hotel should treat their long-standing and loyal customers in such a disrespectful manner, by not taking responsibility for fining their own customers for parking in the hotel car park. I will never use this hotel again and will advise my family and friends to do likewise. …

Dear JGH176. Many Thanks for your review. Upon entering our car park going over the speed bump, there is a very large sign stating that it is now an ANPR controlled Car park. Also there are approximately 28 signs situated all over the car park in various areas. When guests enter the hotel there is a 12 foot sign stating you must register your vehicle Registration number aswell as signs on the Reception Desk. Also this is stated on the welcome letter for hotel guests. The Car park is controlled by a completely separate company & as a hotel we really do believe that we literally cannot do anymore to make our visitors aware. Kind Regards, Victoria - Guest Relations.

Excellent stay, A friendly service, comfortable rooms and a generally a nice atmosphere. The hotels is quite remote situated but is not far from the motorway network, not far from Warrington and you will be fine if you have a car. The bar is great and the food excellent. Massive gym and swimming pool. Breakfast is a little expensive but great for a full English breakfast. Stay again? Yes, most definitely.
