I have been visiting George Town Exuma for a number of years and I always stay at Augusta Bay! I can't say enough good things about the hotel and it's restaurant, and it's staff. I just stayed at Augusta Bay for a week the first week of January. My room is always immaculately clean, with very comfy beds and great...

My husband and I truly had a relaxing vacation here. Our bed was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly, the resort was small and in a great spot on the beach (swam in the ocean every day) and the pool/common areas were very clean. We enjoyed the meals, including the simple breakfasts and the Bahamian beach party feast. The...

The people that work at Augusta Bay are excellent. The location is great - close enough that you can walk into town. I think the only thing negative about the entire place is that our room smelled very musty when we first checked in. I think it had been closed up for a while. They need to spruce the rooms...

We stayed at Augusta Bay in March 2014 for a few days while in the Exumas. We liked the location of the hotel and the appointments were very good. The thing we didnt like so much was the energy of the place which carries a very negative tone. We felt that the owners were very down on the island and...

Firstly, I question the timing of this review - coming nearly a year 'after the fact'. The author of this review is confused. Augusta Bay has one owner and that is myself. There are no 'owners' as stated by the author.I was off the island for four months due to medical reasons - from Feb thru June 2014. The author...

Could have been cleaner, mold in the shower and coffee pot was a bit nasty. Very good location, quiet, comfy bed. Great balcony with comfy chairs. Not allowed to turn air conditioner below 76 degrees, not acceptable for a northerner. Was ok but I would chose elsewhere next time.

Overall I would stay again but I don’t rate nearly as highly - however due to the rave reviews on Tripadvisor perhaps I was expecting too much! My main issue was that our connecting flight from Nassau to Exumas was delayed (the lady at reception subsequently told us this is very normal as Exumas has lights on the runway whereas...

Wow. We were advised by a friend from New York to check this place out for a comfortable, quiet holiday. It was that and then some. We travelled through Air Canada Vacations and part of our package involved a continental breakfast every day and a chef prepared supper, different every day. I travel extensively for work and have eaten in...

Needing to decompress after several stressful months I chose the perfect hotel on a beautiful, unspoiled island. The room was beautiful and comfortable. My favorite spot was in a lushly cushioned chair on my balcony. I spent every morning there meditating and reading while the sun was coming up and reflecting beautiful colors on the clouds. Ian, John, Pam, Renee,...

This is a really good boutique hotel. Great spot on a private beach... Good food.... Wonderful hospitality. Good vibes at Frankie Bananas bar on the boat deck....especially Friday evenings. The staff and management are extremely attentive and very helpful. Really a place to return to each year. Like a private home in the Caribbean.

We were supposed to fly in on Thursday but our airline oversold our flight and bumped us to the next day. We decided to extend our trip by a day as a result. Augusta Bay was able to accommodate us and let us exchange our nights. We went during the slow season and had the resort basically to ourselves. Located...
