Driving through a short tunnel beneath the Caledonian canal ,taking you to beneath the magnificence of Ben Nevis ,looking around you ,the first thought is that it can't get better ...it does . A wonderful warm welcome from a lovely family ,very present ,but in an unobtrusive way ,a balance they achieve . The breakfast is amazing ,and as for...

Stayed here for two days in February, arrived in dark through the amazing and quirky tunnel. Really friendly lady on arrival. Nicely presented and comfortable room with en suite. Both nice and clean. Had good night's sleep and then had a very nice breakfast looking at stunning views. Couldn't ask for better. Stayed for two nights, lady asked what time...

I booked this b&b originally through booking.com but had ring up and change the date of the booking, and that's when I first dealt with the owner who was just so lovely. The postcode in the sat nav only takes you to the main road but the instructions we got in an email for the rest of the journey were...

We came up to Fort William for a family weekend away to do some skiing and stayed at Torcastle House b&b. When we arrived late on Friday evening Ilona kindly came out to us in the car park despite it raining heavily!! The room was spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good which included...

When arriving to Torcasle House we first had to find our way on a private road which was really exciting as there was a private tunnel going under the Caledonian Canal which provided a interesting, unique addition to our travels! The owners were very friendly and the cooked breakfast was delicious with extra additions such as fruit and cereal to...

This was the second stop on our honeymoon, and after an interesting trip through the tunnel to find it (we called it the Batcave!) we arrived. The family and the labradors were so welcoming, and our room was incredible, large and spacious with lots of homey touches. Patchwork quilts and local soaps were just a few of the thoughtful things...

Excellent host, lovely rooms. Owners own a lot of land whereabouts, including the ruins of a medieval castle and lots of nice woodland walks, as canal and a beach! Also, entrance into it is through a tunnel. They have three dogs, very friendly (in case you are allergic) and plenty of parking. Excellent place to stay if you want to...

We stayed in the area to climb Ben Nevis and really enjoyed our stay at Torcastle the drive under the Caledonian canal was the most interesting approach to a B&B in some time. The hosts are very warm & friendly and the room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast in the morning set us up nicely for our hike. Definitely...

We were lucky enough to find Torcastle through a recommendation from a neighbouring B and B and booked 2 rooms for a weekend stay. We were greeted by the owner and her family and shown to immaculate en suite rooms with access to a lounge featuring views of the mountains when the clouds disappeared!! The best breakfast I've ever had...
