My wife and I stayed at the Hotel La Rive for seven nights at the beginning of September on a half board package. During the day we explored the local region on our tandem. The local area is fantastic for cycling with plenty of different routes to choose from. Luxembourg can be proud of its roads which are all perfectly...

First of all the hotel is renamed recently to Cocoon hotel La rive, but you will notice this during your stay. The hotel is a little outdated on the interior of the rooms and there maintenance of the building is running behind on schedule. The windowsills need urgent painting. We booked this hotel instead of Cocoon hotel Bellair (200 meters down...

Great beds in the cottage. Regrettably some traffic in gront of the room, Room was ice cold upon arrival..brrr...Shower nice looking but low water pressure. Breakfast understaffed, had to wait 15 minutes for warm rolls and croisssants, During dinner they start setting up breakfast around you, very very unpleasant!

First of all, this hotel is now called Cocoon Le Rive. it is located on the river bank at the end of a narrow winding road, which guarantees total calm and good sleep. Several walking routes depart from hotel. The restaurant is good, but make sure you book in advance, in the weekend it may happen that you find no...

I stayed at Hotel Theis with my boyfriend for the Easter Break. We felt very welcome when we arrived at Reception and were shown to our room with 5 minutes. Room spacious with a small but adequate bathroom. We had outstanding views looking over the lake. We took a package deal which included 2 nights bed and breakfast, with a...

The hotel is situated directly on the banks of the river sure at the end of a very steep, narrow, windng road. Despite this our SatNav found it easily. We arrived at night, the receptionist only spoke French and had to wait for someone who spoke English to check us in. We had booked a double room with balcony. The...

The hotel is beautifully situated at the river bank. Good accessibility (over narrow roads), characteristic building. Friendly, helpful reception, where English, German and French is spoken, and basic Dutch is understood. Non-smoking restaurant, but smoking is permitted in the salon as well as in at least some of the rooms. Rooms are tastefully furnished, although on a budget. We had...
