Stayed one night at this establishment and while the appearance from the outside is very nice, as soon as you enter you realize that time might have stopped circa 1980s. As long as you set your expectations accordingly and keep your stay short I think you will appreciate the hotel for what it is. A cozy, dated hotel that has...

We (my girlfriend and I) stayed here for three nights. This hotel was our base for a walking and geocaching weekend in the surrounding area. The welcome on arrival was very friendly where the lady at the reception switched languages from French to English to German and even Dutch. One could say that it is somewhat dated, but we like...

We used this hotel as our base on a motorcycle tour of the area. This was the second visit and the standard is the same as before. This hotel ticks all the boxes for a group stay. (10). The price is good and the facilities are adequate but a bit basic. The rooms are comfortable with a small shower/toilet closed...

We chose this hotel as it was near good biking roads and had secure parking for our motorbike (a garage that took quite a few bikes). We were disappointed not to be in the main hotel as we were part way down the hill in a house converted into rooms. The room was fine, clean and comfortable, but the only...

I spent 3 nights here, and found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were fine, with a great view over the river. The restaurant food was very nice, and the hotel offers a great selection of beers and wine. Would go back there again.

Changed hotels from Central France to avoid the petrol strike. Chose this hotel because bike friendly. Secure parking in a locked garage. We turned up wet and cold. The welcome was absolutely superb, the lady on reception let us park the bikes, and took all of our wet gear, jackets, boots gloves, the works and put them into their boiler...

Initial welcome from reception could have been much more friendly, luckily I spoke French as otherwise a lack of French (or German) would have made being understood all the more difficult. Double room was adequate, albeit sliding door for bathroom didn't lock (or in fact close properly). So tired after a day's travelling across Europe, though, and I was out...

A small hotel , I think family run, so lots of personal attention, clean room of adequate size over looking the river area. An old set of ruins and church on high ground not far from the hotel , lots of river and walking trails. Used as an overnite stop heading to Germany. Excellent restaurant will a great wine and...

There are only a few hotels in Esch and this was the first time I succeeded to stay in Esch itself. The charm of the environment largely compensates that the rooms are a bit outdated. Nevertheless everything for your daily needs is at hand. Breakfast is ok and for dinner we recommend you the delicious trout. And if you take...

The location of this hotel is amazing, the views are outstanding and if you enjoy walking then there is a lot to see. However, the hotel was not amazing. The bathroom door was comprised of a plastic curtain and the duvet was what seemed to be a folded up padded blanket. This didn't bother us at all because the views...
