Friendly welcome in the good size car park with lots of directions & tips; It's a pleasant walk to the seafront. Covid secure The room was a bit basic but spotless. I have to agree with the owners welcoming comment that the double room was a bit tight for 2 adults. Not a problem for a 1 nighter before the ferry to Ireland but I wouldn't have been keen on a long stay in this room. I had left booking until quite late & by then there wasn't much choice in the area anyway. The pictures on the website definitely show the best views particularly focusing on the self catering units next door Breakfast was nice & relaxed in a very pleasant environment in what used to be the restaurant No problems at all but I felt the room was fully priced for a midweek shoulder season night although I think demand and costs are up this year for independent businesses. If planning a longer stay as some of the other (very happy) guests had, just make sure you are clear on which room you are booking

We stayed in room 7 which was a huge room with 2 comfortable beds and a kitchenette. Bathroom was great, everything was very clean. The room had everything we needed and more. The only downside was the access to the room via an external metal spiral staircase, which was a bit tricky with suitcases. I was aware of this when I booked, but thought it worth mentioning as would be an issue for people with limited mobility. We didn't meet the owners due to their covid policy, but they were helpful and available by phone. We would have liked to try the restaurant although it was not open when we visited (Sep 21).

Stayed here as our family holiday. Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay our full amount of time as we had car trouble and ended up being stuck in Cardiff but Mark was very accommodating and understanding of our situation, which we cannot be more grateful for. Lovely annex, kids loved the bunk beds and being in a separate room. Beds were comfy, room was clean and lots of tea and coffee and more if needed. Bathroom was clean and nice. Rooms weren’t serviced due to COVID restrictions but anything we needed we only had to ask or text Mark. Breakfast was so lovely, delivered to the room, again due to the restrictions but delivered hot and more than enough food for us all. We didn’t get to eat in the restaurant but we would have liked to have tried it. Good location, lovely little walk through the Ivy Bridge down to the coast. We would stay here again!

I stayed here with a friend over a long weekend in July 2021. The owner was friendly and good-humoured throughout our stay, and was very prompt to respond to text messages. I think their covid prevention measures were quite robust - they seemed to take this seriously, which was reassuring. Although our room was simply furnished, it was still neat, clean and with a nice character. I would recommend this guesthouse for people staying in Goodwick.
