This was advertised as a dog friendly B and B. When we arrived there were at least 5 cats hissing and spitting at my dog. They had access to every room which made the whole experience stressful each time we moved. The cats even gate crashed the bathroom which was not en suite while having a bath. There were cat...

I am very sorry you did not have a good experience here because of the cats. However, my website and publicity makes it clear that this is a B and B for lovers of fine cats and fine gardens. Most guests who come here come because they love cats and many of them leave their bedroom doors open because they...

If you like cats, you will love this place as there are five Maine coons living here. The guest house is very well appointed an set in a beautiful garden on the outskirts of a lovely Northumberland town, well away from the hustle and bustle. Eileen is an excellent hostess.

This was because I had a cat curled up between my feet, one behind my knees and another snuggled beside an outstretched arm. Of course if you want an undisturbed nights sleep you can always shut the bedroom door, but where's the fun in that? Our fourth visit to Eileen's Wonderful House of Cats. This time, as well as catching...

Thornley House is a few days in heaven - if, like me, you are a cat lover ! (If you are allergic or phobic to cats then it is not the place for you !). Eileen - the owner - continues to delight with her warm and welcoming personality; and of course the setting - even in November - is...
