Christmas 2010 will be remembered for many, many years to come! The Mountain Mavericks team made our holiday a superb experience for the whole family: nothing was too much trouble! Nicky and Dave, our chalet hosts, treated us to some excellent cooking.....every night's three course meal (and cheese!) was carefully thought out, beautifully presented and delicious. Nicky's scrummy cakes were... More

My family (with young kids), sister (with slightly older children) and parents had the great pleasure of staying in Chalet Le Prele over xmas 2010. I can't think of a better place to spend Christmas with family, or more welcoming hosts than Dave & Nicky along with Olly, Emma and the rest of the Mountain Mavericks team. First - the... More

Thank you to all at Mountain Mavericks for such a fabulous holiday. We travelled with our 2 year old son, and some friends, and all thoroughly enjoyed it. The chalet was superbly kitted out, and everything we needed was made available for our little boy (including a supply of toys to keep him amused!). Dean, the chef, seemed completely unfazed... This was my winter sports experience and Mountain Mavericks have set the bar high - Chalet Le Prele was clean, spacious and comfortable and our live-in hosts, Dean and Kylie, were second to none, especially Dean's haute cuisine skills in the kitchen :) I would highly recommend this chalet to anyone.

Thank you to Mountain Mavericks for a great holiday. Dean and Kylie were fantastic and really looked after us. The food was excellent - much better than expected. Shame my suitcase wasn't big enough to fit Dean in. Already missing the tasty nosh. Having the whole chalet between a group of friends was perfect. Plenty of space to sit around... More

Staying in this lovely chalet was one of the best skiingholidays ever! Nice and clean chalet. Dean and Kylie were great. They took good care us. We were spoiled! Recommending it could mean the place will be fully booked the next time. So I recommend it, for sure -but not too loud! Nick

This is the third time we have stayed with Mountain Mavericks but this is our first time at their flagship chalet Chambertin. There were 15 of us in our group - six adults and nine children aged 10 to 16. As usual the Mavericks catered for our every need and Ryan's food was stunning yet again. Rosie, a new addition... I would highly recommend Chalet le Prele. The chalet is spacious, pretty and spotlessly clean and in a good location for skiing in either Morzine or Avoriaz. The rooms are spacious and decorated to a high standard and the outdoor hot tub is great. The holiday is made very easy by delivery to the door ski hire, hassle free transfers... More

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Chalet Le Prele (unfortunately it was full in March last year) and yet again it was fabulous, Dean's culinary skills were superb and Kylie was attentive to everyone's needs. Mountain Mavericks is a reasonably small operation run by a fantastic team who really do care about your holiday experience. They're realaxed, professional and always there to assist - the personal touch really does make a difference! Chalet Le Prele is ideally situated between Avoriaz and Morzine, offering plenty of options depending on snow conditions and weather. Transport is not... More
