This is a well located block in the middle of everything Avoriaz has to offer. Somewhat loud at night, so you may prefer to stay at a higher floor. Shops, restaurants and ski slopes are in front of your doorstep. The building looks a bit tired, and is not that we'll maintained, but is functional. Good for a short stay,... More

elf catering apartment, flights from Edinburgh, transfers and full Portes du Soleil lift pass for <£600 per person. Stayed in January 2013 as a group of 4 guys split into two rooms.  Slight mix up when we checked in as our second room had been reserved for a Mrs Thomas (despite our holiday package being booked with Thomson...) but it... We came here in a large group in March for a weeks skiing. Had beautiful weather and had 6 rooms in total. Absolutely brilliant for the price and location! It's in the centre of Avoriaz and you can literally ski up to the door. There is a ski room downstairs for you to store equipment though hard to go down... More

As with all my reviews, I review all stays - good and bad. This apartment was an absolute steal. At £171 pp during school holidays I was delighted to find a clean, perfectly located and more than just functional ski apartment. We stayed in a studio apartment (3 beds) but there were only 2 of us. The day beds are... More

The location (like everything in Avoriaz) is good as it is close to ski lifts and shops but the level of noise (Piste Bully Machine, Deliveries etc) througout the night means that you are unlikley to sleep well. The residence facilities are fine and the staff try hard but it all looks a bit tired and is in need of... More

This apartment was very good value for money. Our apartment was well equipped, clean and tidy. You could ski in and out with ease. We had a dishwasher and television. The apartments did look slightly tired but were sufficiently comfortable for that not to matter. Reception attendees spoke good English. I would return to these apartments again (for the same... The Maeva is in a great location but everything else about the accommodation is poor quality. I would rate the accommodation as 2 stars. It is relatively clean but the decor, furnishings and equipment are tired. The sofa beds were okay but at end of season needed a clean. Overall I would say that it was good value for money... More

Don't expect 5 star luxury. This is a basic hotel in a great location. While everything could be better you have to forgive it. The hotel is perfectly sited for skiing/boarding as well as nightlife. Friendly staff and clean (slightly dated) facilities make this the best value for money in Avoriaz. If you want luxury then go somewhere else, but... More

The booking form said clean towels were provided, end of stay cleaning was provided and bed was made on arrival. We had to pay 7 euros per towel, was forced to clean our room (had to hoover up dog hair from a previous occupier) or be charged a further 45 euros and the bed which was actually a mouldy sofa...
