Located in the centre of Morzine, free bus stops right outside, the rooms are well appointed and very clean, all the staff are so friendly. The food is excellent and there really is no need to venture out to other restaurants.
This was my first visit to Hotel Le Samoyede and I will be definitely be returning. From the moment you walk through the door my visit was a pure delight from start to finish. Sophia and her extremely friendly team (including Laura and Laetitia) go out of their way to constantly check you have everything you need and your stay if first class. The hotel is smart, extremely well located, has a great bar and provides all you need for a great stay. I stayed over the Christmas period (whilst rain hit the resort) I was super glad I was based at the Samoyede as a couple of days (not skiing) were spent enjoying the spa, bar and reception areas of the hotel. Overall and excellent experience. Thank you
Highly recommended! What a great hotel with the best staff who were very professional and always very helpful and willing to go out their way to make my stay easy. The food was great too and I looked forward to breakfast and dinner each day.
Morzine is a beautiful place to visit and I would highly recommend staying here. The rooms are spacious and clean with lovely decor. The balcony is a wonderful added touch. We stayed in a family room and there was adequate space for two adults and two teenagers. Breakfast was delicious and the front staff was very welcoming and always pleasant.
The Samoyede is a family run hotel and it shows with their friendliness, warm welcome and "nothing too much trouble" attitude. There is nothing to fault. We stayed 11 years ago when our son got married in Morzine and we will certainly return
Perfect position, friendly, well run ,clean, Superb. The breakfast was well thought out with lots of choice. There is a lift should you need one. A super sauna area with all equipment. Again the hotel is in the centre of town so all amenities in walking distance. Recommended. There is also a restaurant for later.
Staff were very helpful and were always happy to help, the hotel was well run, very clean and beautiful inside and out. Spa was very clean and had everything needed. Great location, great staff, would highly recommend
We have just returned home from a holiday in Morzine staying in Hotel Le Samoyede. The hotel is very centrally located with lots of bars and restaurants near by. We were allocated a room on the third floor overlooking the Centre square, the room itself was very well equipped and had the bonus of air conditioning, which was needed as it was very hot. The Bedroom was a decent size and the bathroom was very spacious. There was a small balcony but great to sit and people watch in the early evening with a G&T. Breakfast was both hot and cold selections and staff were more than willing to cook fresh bacon and eggs if the trays were running low. But what was on offer was more than adequate before setting out into the mountains. All the staff at the hotel are very friendly and can’t do enough to help. The hotel provides a voucher for guests to get a multi pass which allows for cheap use of facilities throughout Morzine, we used it mainly for lift passes and it was an incredibly good deal. For 2.50 euros per day you can travel up and down the mountains all day. Fantastic way to see the mountains and the scenery is breathtaking. We will be back and we hope again to be able to stay at this hotel.…
Lovely staff, lovely room, lovely breakfast. Traditional hotel but with modern touches - just lovely! Centrally located near lots of bars and restaurants. We stayed in the summer but wouldn't hesitate to stay in winter as within easy walking distances to ski lifts.
This was our 2nd visit to Hotel Le Samoyede - last visited in 2019 pre pandemic, and we couldn't wait to return. We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our room was a good size, very comfortable large bed, and pleased to say it now has air conditioning which had been installed over lockdown. Also new was the secure bike room downstairs to store our mountain bikes, with easy access side slip instead of stairs to help getting them in and out. In addition they now have a spa area, but we didn't use this. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, including fresh bread and pastries. But the real asset at this hotel are the people who work there. They are all so friendly, professional and helpful. We stayed here to participate in the Pass Portes du Soleil mountain bike event and its location is perfect for this. A short walk to registration near the Tourist office, 2 minutes ride to the Super Morzine Lift and the hotel has an open bar that looks out over all of this so we could have a few drinks after our day of enjoying the mountains. Highly recommended and we are looking forward to returning next year!…
