We visited Fairfield guest house way back in 2012 so a bit late to write the review. But a couple of years later we still remember the excellent stay we had at the Fairfield guest house and that itself speaks a lot. Food, location, rooms and Stuart and Martien's hospitability was truly amazing. We are planning to go back again...

We had an amazing time and felt completely at home and welcomed by our friendly and very accommodating and attentive hosts. We stayed in the suite and it was perfect - beautifully decorated with a really comfortable bed and great attention to detail - our hosts had thought of everything! Had a lovely breakfast in the morning with amazing views...

We were warmly greeted, and offered a much appreciated glass of sherry. the room was immaculate, the bathroom and shower were a very high standard. As a coeliac, I was over the moon to find they had gluten free bread and cereal. Although our stay was short we would definitely recommend it, the area is beautiful, with a local pub...

Fairfield is delightful. You are invited to take breakfast in a lovely conservatory over-looking the Wye valley - truly lovely. Everything is cooked to order, which adds to the experience. The decor in the house is very sophisticated and interesting - the owners are obviously well travelled and artwork, displayed, is from around the world. We booked a standard double,...

we spent a couple of day in this place, was a plaisure to be there. The owners are Helpful. Everything is very clean, Shower, bed, dinning room.... Just a negative point are to be carrefuTl when is rain in the entrance because the stone in the floor are sliding. The owners should do somethink to be carreful for their customers.

We had mis-booked the wrong date, and turned up expecting a room. The hosts were magnificent. They smoothly and courteously provided a lovely room. Gorgeous place and wonderful breakfast. I would have liked a warmer duvet, but was still very grateful for a bed. Would recommend.

Great location for Wye Valley - warm welcome and generous hosts - great facilities in the Suite Room - lovely breakfast in the conservatory with stunning accompanying views - didn't have evening meal as this needs to be booked in advance so used the Anchor Inn adjacent to Tintern Abbey and would recommend

We had only one night at Fairfield after a family wedding, but would have loved to stay longer. Stuart and Martien are so friendly they make guests feel genuinely welcome in their lovely home. The breakfast was delicious, and served in such a wonderful setting. If we return, as we hope to, we will definitely order an evening meal. No...
