We were a weekend at Jæktvolden Fjord Hotel for a business seminar. Situated by the fjord location was not better - to bad that it stops there. Long time to get checked in and generally the hotel has great potential for better guest service.
Very pretty location, but very basic rooms. Unfortunatly the quality of the rooms do not match the price - very low value for money. The room is clean. Some smell from outside in the evening. Approx 30 minutes drive to Stiklestad.

We loved staying here the other night and had a tasty meal of fresh sea trout in a citron sauce and a gorgeous chocolate desert all washed down with a bottle of Sancerre. A truly lovely old-fashioned hotel with friendly staff. We will be back...More
