Another brilliant stay. We upgraded the room and room 161 was fantastic - huge, quiet and comfortable. The staff were without exception very attentive and professional. The hotel has become part of the Brittania group since our last stay and they seem to invested in the property. Massage treatment was perfect, leisure facilities were clean and inviting, food was delicious....

From the moment I received my room key I knew I had made a mistake. The room was bland and featureless. The decor was shabby and dated the double bed was tiny and the bedding must have been someone's joke. Breakfast featured sausages ( I use the term loosely) that had more gristle and skeletal fragments than meat. The beans...

First impression of the hotel was very good, very nice and modern. The room was nice and very clean. Went down for our evening meal and thought how nice the buffet looked until we got the food. The soup was barely warm and the vegetables cold. The only nice thing was the cakes they had for desert. Breakfast time was...

We stayed at the Daresbury Park Hotel. The rooms are very dated and we had to ask to be moved because the first one was so cold. The restaurant was poor and my partner is Coeliac. Despite us telling the restaurant this and them pointing out which dishes were Gluten free they either got this wrong or mixed our dishes...

Arrived and was quite impressed with look and size of hotel. We were a large coach party of female friends. We checked in at 4pm got our key and went to our room. On walking down corridor we passed 1 of our party who was complaining her room wasn't ready. No room cleaned no bed made. We sympathised and carried...

My wife and I spent a delightful afternoon at the health club followed by afternoon tea. The health club was clean with a very helpful and enthusiastic staff. We took advantage of the pool, jacuzzi and steamroom. The afternoon tea was very nice with fresh sandwiches, but the little cakes were a let down. The cream cakes had come from...

I had the misfortune of spending £80 on this soleless room that was shoehorned in the middle of a main corridor. For the record, I'm not hard to please, a Travelodge will always gets 4 stars from me assuming it's clean so I'm easily catered for. Room 1011 at Daresbury Park, no window, no air con, no soap to wash...

This calendar year I have stopped in over 20 hotels throughout the globe, including in developing economies around the world and this is the first time this year I've felt compelled to leave one before is even spent the night. I was allocated room 340 and could've realised by the decor and cleanliness of the common areas that I was...
