we phoned and booked our holiday prior to arriving and were told there was a swimming pool for our twelve year old son to swim in with a slide . When we arrived we were greeted with the worst customer service we have ever experienced. The camp manager was very rude and obnoxious, and the pool turned out to be...

Good size one bedroom motel unit. Very clean, good double bed (spare single) and everything you require. Heat pump was very useful. Motels set in groups of three amongst the bush so fairly private and very quiet.

Our motel unit was spick and span with comfortable bed, clean bathroom facility and lovely kitchen. Its a lovely restfull holiday park and safe for children. The hospitality shown by the owners was much appreciated. Many thanks.

Good weather makes for a great place to stop over. Sunshine and happy campers, back again to spend a comfortable weekend at Harcourt holiday park. Not only did we wake up to a beautiful day but chorus of bird song. Freshly painted rooms, heat pumps and lovely gardens. What a great setting and friendly welcome! We will be back for...

We were only staying for a night, so just needed a warm, comfy bed plus clean facilities which Harcourts Park delivered. On arrival we were greeted nicely and everything about the accommodation was explained. We had rented an 'eco cabin' which is a block of 8 units apparently only a few years old. We had advance notice to bring our...

I will say this was the worst holiday park in New Zealand!!!!! we booked a standard cabin which was cheap and it showed. I don't expect much for a 45$ a night accommodation, we did have a heater in the room but thats it, the lady in reception explained to me we didn't get sheets with the room, and normally...

“Rooms are all the same location wise, if multiple adults probably best to stay in the group of 3 cabins as they are across from the communal kitchen/TV room and Laundry room as there is only one bathroom and no separate toilet.”

“Remember to bring all your own bedding and towels. The 8 Eco Cabin units are in an L Shape, with the toilets/shower rooms in the middle, next to a communal kitchen room. Everything nice and clean. Verandah in front of the units would keep you dry in wet weather for a night time dash to the loo (max distance only 4 units)”
  • Eco Cabins - with unfortunate power pylon
  • The office building and grounds - take kids to the awesome playground at the park next door inst
  • One of the Eco Cabin units. Very basic but clean.
