After arriving at the bar a few minutes late for our13.00 pre-booked meal we were seated at around 13.15. As a large party of 9 adults and 1baby we were happy to be left whilst other quests were served. The staff were extremely busy so we got our drinks from the bar as it seemed the most sensible thing to...

I expected to come away feeling well fed and watered when I spent £180 in taking 9 members of various generations of my family out for a 3-course Mother's Day Sunday lunch. Instead I feel Longlands let me and my family down. Having arrived at our booked time of 1pm, it was 1.20 before our order from the special Mother's...

Buffet style breakfast with stuff on order. The buffet was a bit sparse, no fruit salad for example. I tried Eggs Benedict. Nowhere near the amount of sauce you get in the USA. It was advertised as with smoked salmon but there was none. Breakfast was cheap, plenty of parking, so good not very good. Dinner similarly, but very good...

We stayed at the Longlands on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th March. This was our second stay here and it was great to see that the high level of service had been maintained. However, we had been put in Room 12 and had not been told there was a function on that night and our room was directly above the...

We chose Longlands inn for an overnight stay while driving from France to Scotland, initially because of the proximity to the motorway and they are pet friendly. Didn't expect too much but when we arrived we were met with a very warm reception and upgraded to a lovely refurbished room, modern yet very comfortable. The meal in the restaraunt was perfect...

Great hotel with the most comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean, quiet and even better that we were upgraded. The bar is good, nice range of wine and ales. Breakfast was great - only comment for improvement is that while the staff in the evening were very friendly and helpful a smile and a bit more interest from staff in the morning...
